Rick- I’m sorry that I missed you at lunch on June, 30th. My wife and I first met you on June, 23rd about 2:30pm. I ordered the 1/2 western bbq on a roll. My wife ordered a steak burger with cheddar cheese. We were so thankful that your business was open for food, and believe that we told you the same. Together as a couple we are pretty funny looking. . We loved your food and told you that we would be back the following Tuesday and we did.
On the 30th we ordered the same.(But I didn’t get the 1/3) I was so hungry I had taken two large bites before my wife said her burger was raw. I quickly examined my burger to find the same.
I took the burgers to the counter and was met with resistance. Somehow it was my fault, that I didn’t order something other than medium, because all burgers are medium unless otherwise requested. Big problem because, number 1 when I ordered from you the week before, you Rick did not ask me if I wanted a raw burger. You never mentioned it at all. While waiting for food that day, my wife and I debated the fact that we were not asked about the temperature of our cooked food.
We came to the conclusion that because of the Restaurants unique location, next to Stanford, with all of the immune deficient patients and the High school across the street there would only be one way you could get a burger.... Done. Done, to a degree that the possibilities for food borne illnesses would never be questioned.
Then you Rick actually hand delivered one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life. And the next week I get a raw burger and told it was my fault.
I asked for my money back and I have not seen it returned to my account. Please review order 446338 and my charges of $39.03 which included a $4.00 tip. Something is not adding up. I am still waiting for my...

Apparently, there is a big rivalry with another burger joint nearby. This place was pretty good.
Parking is pretty much a nightmare in this shopping center, as locals already know.
The place was relatively clean. They were cleaning up tables as I arrived.
Girl at the counter was very nice.
The burger was probably 3.5 stars. Didn't notice the bacon at all. Hardly could tell their was avocado. The sauce was kinda like "fry sauce" meets thousand island dressing. I liked it a lot. The bun was nice bit felt like the bread to meat/toppings ratio was too high. The meat itself didn't have a lot of flavor but the texture was really soft with charred exterior.
Fries and onion rings were both really good. Fries are at least 4 stars and the onion rings were 4.5.
When I travel, I look for the best local burger place. This place didn't live up to the standard I am used to, but it was still pretty good. I think next time i am in town i will have to experiment on other places till i find the place that i know i will come back to.
If i do come back, i will likely do the larger classic burger with the sides.
Let me know where I should go next time I am near Stanford for a...

The burgers are medium size and perfectly prepared. They tend to fall apart, so be careful while eating. The fries are good but sometimes greasy, with a large feeding ~2 people. We found a hair in one burger, but overall the staff seem professional and tidy.
The service is friendly and helpful. It was easy to set up tables for a party of 6, and they can always help while ordering. However, separate orders can come out at very separate times. One time, we had 4 orders (1-2 burgers and 1 side of fries each) for a group of 6. The last 3 came out within 10 minutes of each other, while the first order took an additional 15 minutes. We received coupons as an apology. During our second visit (2 orders with 2 burgers each), the second order came out 10 minutes before the first order.
The restaurant is never crowded even during peak hours, and prices are reasonable for Palo Alto ($10 for large seasoned fries and $13 for most single burgers). Overall, I wouldn't complain if a friend wanted to go, but I'm not going out of...
