Adjusting my review from when they first opened. Most of the stuff is stale. You need to throw away old sweets, and not to mix the new batch with the old stale stuff. The awama has some fresh pieces that are very good and crispy, and also has some pieces that are very soft and old. In this business you have to either loose some money or loose some customers if you know what I mean. Don't make big batches of sweets. Keep it fresh. If you’re in town for a short amount of time, don’t skip this place if you want some fresh ka3ek, manakees, falafel and other baked goodies. Be sure to ask what they have bc they’re one of those old school places where you gotta know what you are in the mood for and they’ll help you out,...
Read moreVery overrated. Charged $11 for a manaqeesh that was stale and had the thinnest layer MOZZARELLA not arab cheese possible. Charged $10 for a falafel sandwich with only 3 pieces. The falafel was extremely dry and unflavorful. $35 for 2 small falafel sandwiches and a joke of a manaqeesh is horrendous. If you’re going to charge that much for this food, atleast make it actually taste good and fresh. I’ll never...
