AlDiar Restaurant — Restaurant in Worth Township

After seeing a video of AlDiar on TikTok, I decided to try it for myself — and honestly, it exceeded every expectation.

I ordered the Lamb Mandi and Lamb Haneeth for dine-in, and both dishes were absolutely outstanding. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the rice was perfectly seasoned — every bite was better than the last.

For takeout, I got Lamb Mandi, Lamb Haneeth, Masoub, and Areekah — each dish was warm, comforting, and full of rich, authentic Southern Saudi flavors that truly felt like home.

This was, without a doubt, the best dining experience I’ve had in America. I’ve lived here for over 10 years and have never come across an Arab restaurant with this level of quality. I sincerely thank everyone behind this place — your attention to detail, warm hospitality, and creative touches are beyond words.

I drove three hours from Indiana to Chicago just to visit — and every minute was worth it. I genuinely hope AlDiar opens more branches across the U.S., because this is a restaurant that deserves wide recognition and success.

If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re truly missing out — visit it as soon as you can and enjoy!

I highly recommend it, and it’s now on my list of top favorite restaurants. And without a doubt, every time I get the chance to visit Chicago again, I’ll be coming back to this...

I am incredibly disappointed by our experience. We went in so excited based on the rave reviews but we will definitely never be returning. They were out of lamb Mandi, bummer but okay. We got the lamb haneeth. It came with 3 chunks of meat (all spine pieces) and they were all 80% bone. Hardly any meat! For $30??? Absolutely unacceptable. Literally felt like we paid $30 for rice and maybe 4 proper bites of meat. We left hungry… crazy.

Not sure if they were down to the bottom of the barrel of what was left but that’s not okay. Just tell me you’re out of all lamb options or at least be honest about the little meat left and price it lower. Felt like I was robbed after walking out of that meal for sure. Plus, the ambiance and limited seating also do not justify the price tag. Baffled so many people pay these prices if they have the same...

I’ve had Yemeni food in both Saudi Arabia and Virginia, but Al-Diar Yamani Restaurant truly exceeded our expectations. The flavors were rich, authentic, and absolutely delicious—every bite was full of taste and perfectly seasoned. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and presented beautifully. What made the experience even better was the excellent customer service; the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. This place not only matches but surpasses my previous experiences with Yemeni cuisine. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a truly satisfying and flavorful meal! I hope the owner would consider another location...
