I echo other people's comments here, speaking to how rude some of the people working here are, particularly their manager, short girl with glasses. She always seems flustered when she takes my order, apprehensive. No other Starbucks I frequent do I get this kind of treatment. The manager seems to have anger issues and doesn't like her job. Honestly it can't be that miserable to work for Starbucks, I hear they pay well and have good benefits.
I counted at least 4 flies in the front lobby, some flying on me. I asked if they have a fly swatter. She said no, basically I had to deal with it (it is summer, or well, autumn and she can't control that. I get it but what are they doing about it? Going from past reviews, this seems to be a consistent problem here.
I could continue complaining but for me the real issue is being made to feel patronized, as if I'm not welcome here. I would recommend going a few more miles up the road to Starbucks Tinley Park on 159th and Harlem, my favorite location. Everyone is friendly and they make good drinks! Also I notice they try to keep organized, clean. I get it sometimes they get overwhelmed with customers, esp adolescents who can be messy.
There are a few people here who are friendly, courteous and helpful. Other than that, I'm not frequenting this particular...
Read moreMy first time at this location and I ordered a coffee and a bakery item.. I wanted to try something new.. I really wanted to try a new treat in the bakery counter. I am sorry I didn’t know which from what, I read the sign and I thought I was getting what the sign said.. in front of the bakery treat. The cashier wasn’t happy with me.. when I asked her why is this so small? She told me that’s what I ordered.. I pointed to her and told her that’s not what the sign says… 🤷🏼♀️ then she gives me what the sign says, but it’s still in the plastic wrap, and throws it into their brown bags. My coffee wasn’t made right, and my bakery treat was staled. It expired 2 months before. Definitely wasn’t going to drive all the way back to this location. (It’s a 30 minute drive from home to this location)
The mobile app doesn’t really work with this location. I tried to order something and the app said everything was out of stock. I went through the long wait of the drive thru… literally it was well over 25 minutes. I feel like they had only one barista… I ordered a brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso. Well it definitely wasn’t oat milk, and they apparently don’t understand extra cinnamon when you ask for it.. SO..?!? Idk. I need to find a new location. Why is it so hard to make a...
Read moreUpdate: I tried the contact page, only to find out it is a dead end. Thank Starbucks shows how you really care about customers and their concerns.
I ordered on the mobile app today… my food was to be ready at 8:38 am. I went in at that time and it wasn’t ready. So there was a guy that was making food without any gloves on. Gosh, I hope he washed his hands. My sandwich was last. I wasn’t standing by counter, not even greeted at this location.. and waiting 10 minutes more. I’m starting to dislike Starbucks and their stupid app that is supposed to make things run smoothly. This location didn’t have nice employees with well manners. The atmosphere is like every other Starbucks. The sandwich was okay. Just really hoping that the guy washed his hands before preparing all of that food...
