It's a fast food joint so perfection isn't required nor expected to earn a 5 star rating, but satisfaction is...we ordered using the kiosk which IMO is really destroying the customer service aspect and the lack of interaction tends to make them overlook the simple things like the ketchup dispenser being empty.
But the worst part...we ordered 2 chicken nugget meals...I mean how hard is it to make a chicken nugget meal? You drop the nuggets in the fryer, you drop the fries in the fryer, you set the timers for a few mins, you drain the baskets when the timers go off, and you serve the food. Right? Apparently not.
Our food was brought out and it looked like it had literally spent all morning in the fryers. Our nuggets were BROWN. Our fries were DARK BROWN. We bit into the nuggets and the middle was ok so we ate them, burnt aftertaste and all. I don't like to complain about my food after watching the movie Waiting but when I bit into my fries and nearly lost a tooth as they crunched, I stood up, took the tray and walked back to the counter to request fresh ones. The woman there happily grabbed us fresh fries, but they were still slightly overcooked. Only a few were crunchy so we ate them and continued on our way. There were only about 2 customers in line waiting for food after we got ours, yet while eating, the employees were gabbing away and you could hear the food timers beeping repeatedly and not being shut off...so I'm going to assume, that was something else being overcooked...
Whoever's running that location needs to go in and make heads roll...get that under control and it'd be just as good as any other McDonald's...
Read moreDrive thru. October 14, 2016. 10:20pm. Placing the order was great, the guy taking it was very nice. However, when we pulled around we were waiting behind a car at the second window and we could here the guy in the car yell to the lady at the window to "Just give it to me!" I thought something was off but when I pulled up to the window there was not a soul in sight. After a minute or so the lady came walking up to the window area shouting to whoever was listening "is these the two with the sweet teas??! Well they owe me 12 billion dollars" and then she proceeded to take my card. After she took it I asked her if I could PLEASE have some ketchup... And would you believe that lady grabbed 1 packet of ketchup and threw it at me threw the window, literally threw it, like there was no tomorrow. It hit my chest area and landed on my lap. Taken back by this already rude woman, I looked at her and said "Excuse me?" And she just smiled and walked away. she later returned and gave me my order and we left. The strangest thing was when I got home I noticed on the receipt that she actually wrote a name "Tonya" and circled the section saying to go leave a review on the website. I thought that was so weird and idk if her name was really Tonya or if she's out to get a coworker, but why would she act so mean and then leave her name on the receipt??!?! Anyways I just wanted to bring it to your attention of this employee in beautiful Panama City Beach FL. She did give me more ketchup in my bag but I am not happy at all about her throwing it out the window at me. Thank you for reading this and sorry it...
Read moreWe placed an online order at this location tonight. After getting to the window, I had to wait 5min before someone finally came over. They immediately started handing me drinks, 2 of which were frozen cokes. After the 3rd 1, I finally had to ask for a drink tray since I was picking up by myself. A few minutes later, they brought the food & told me they were still waiting on the pies & asked me to pull to space 1. I sat there & watched multiple people go through the drive-thru & watched 2 people pull in beside me & get their food...all I was waiting for was 4 pies. After 12 minutes, she finally brought the pies out. I asked her if I could get the frozen drinks replaced since they had almost completely melted where I had been waiting so long & she acted aggravated. When she finally brought them back out, she hands them to me & says, "I'm sorry, but they overflowed." She hands them to me with frozen coke pouring from the top of the lid down the side...no napkins. She could've very easily cleaned them up before bringing them out. After getting home & everyone getting their food, my boyfriend looks at me in disbelief. They didn't even put a top bun on his chicken sandwich, and then when I poured my fries out, the pack was only half full. I have tried to call numerous times & it only rings once before someone hangs up on me.
The pictures of the drink I added are from after I got home, but I only live 2min from...
