there was nobody there should’ve took that as a hint on a saturday evening but we stood at the door waiting to be seated for like 5 min while a few workers walked passed to the kitchen that ik seen us , there was nobody in the lobby or host booth atp , then it takes ab 15 min to get a drink order in another 15 to get food order in and then the food comes out and everything smells burnt and hardly has taste the rice was mushy def w didn’t taste like no fried rice , i asked for sauce for my large platter of food and she brings me the smallest little tablespoon maybe full on a little plate…….. be serious! the sushi was so good that was the only thing i can say ab that place , while we ate we wasn’t checked on but maybe once and watched people come in and stand at the door waiting to be seated and stood so long (around 10 min) and nobody ever came out to seat them so they walked back out and left and we sat done and waiting to ask for the ticket for ab 20 min we was all in all there for like 2 hours and paid 70$ for two plates . The food was delicious! My nit-picky complaint is that the floor was so sticky that even my purse stuck to it, and my teenage boys noticed as they walked--it was really bad. My not-so-nit-picky complaint is that, even though they were not busy, the sushi took forever to be served. But even worse, the only member of our party of 5 that did not order sushi was served significantly sooner than the rest of us. His cashew chicken was possibly the best I have ever had, but he was nearly done with the entire meal before the first of the sushi orders was served (we told him to eat while it was hot). And then the sushi came out in stages, though the delay between stages was nowhere near as long as the delay between the cashew chicken and the sushi. The waiter apologized a couple times, and brought us complimentary spring rolls while we waited, and they were quite tasty also. Needed to make everyone aware of how awful of an experience we had here. We placed an order and went to pick it up 30 minutes later. My husband went inside for 20 minutes texting me “oh wow… people are really upset, this is a disaster.” Not comforting to hear when we had already paid and were craving Pad Thai. Come to find out the food would be another hour so I went in to give the one lady working my card and cancel the order/get a refund. 25 minutes later, after politely asking for attention and getting a “one minute I’m busy” index finger, she finally comes over and tells me the system can’t cancel my order. Food STILL would be another hour. People were leaving without paying because they’d asked 5+ times to pay and were never acknowledged. I understand being understaffed, but the staff wasn’t even kind nor did they try to help ease anybody’s frustration. They were rude and unhelpful.
