Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Panama City

I am only giving this 2 stars because I love chicken salad chick in general. However our experience at this location was worse than going to Applebee's and that's pretty bad! It started by me calling to check if this location had white bread. When I tried ordering online it did not give me the option so I wanted to be sure they had it available. I was told over the phone they for sure had white bread and that he could take my order over the phone. He did not ask my name and rushed off the phone without giving me a total or reading back my order. When we arrived to the store the girl in the window asked my name and I told her he never asked my name on the phone. She searched for my order for 10 mins then after I asked her to read it back to me she would only read the sandwiches we got and not the side items or drinks. So naturally after receiving our food I checked it and almost everything was wrong. They had given us wheat bread (said they were out of white). All of our sides were completely wrong. The toasted turkey sandwich for my son felt like it had just been taken out of the freezer and the side was also wrong. Already aggravated from waiting over 20minutes for a call in order, I decided to go inside. The girl at the counter was extremely rude and after her attitude I just simply decided on a refund. I did not want to wait another 20mins for a remake. The girl then tells me "you will have to deal with her if I want a refund". Thats fine but the way she said it was so rude. I felt I was being extremely nice and polite especially after waiting as long as I did. Then another 10mins went by waiting on the manager. After explaining what happened she then had to call another woman to get me a refund. Once the refund was started I then had to wait for cash change (no big deal) however the manager had the first rude employee re-ring the order so they could issue a refund. She didn't re-ring it right and as I started to count my refund I realized the amount was off. When i told the manager she rudely looked over the reciept again and with tons of attitude huffed under her breath "let me just go back in for $1.86 cents". As if I was now inconvenienceing her! Whlie waiting i also heard her and the other girl discussing right in front of Me "this is going to be a long night omg, yeah second one of these tonight" the other girls says I'm about to take a long break. Then another man comes up and asks her for a refill. The same girl told him "oh you gone have to deal with her because I'm leaving" so rude that the old mans eyes lit up in disbelief.

I would put chicken salad chick customer service up there with chick-fil-A most of the time but this one was giving me Applebee's on...

I always love everything I try here, and the environment is nice and very clean. I did however have an extremely rude cashier this time around. Graysona, I come up to the counter and she just stares at me..not a word, I’m like okay... “I’d like to try the lemon basil sandwich, on a croissant, and let’s try the grape salad for the side. And just a water cup.” She doesn’t say anything..then goes “you just want the scoop?” Okay..maybe she just didn’t hear me.. “the Sandwich pease...on a croissant.” Silence again... “you want white, wheat or croissant?” Lady what? We Finally get through the order and she takes my card, swipes it, takes it and a receipt and then turns around holding my card and just starts talking to the kitchen staff...chit chatting...so I wait, and wait and then I hear her say to the kitchen staff “I have no idea who this card belongs to.” What?! I’m literally standing RIGHT here waiting for you.. so I’m like “it’s mine.” And then she hands it back, and stares at me like “why aren’t you moving?” And I’m like “can I get my water cup?” She rolls her eyes at me and goes to get the cup... I don’t know if she was just having a really bad day but that was ridiculous. The woman who brought me my food was very nice, and asked me twice if I needed anything/ was enjoying myself. I enjoy this place and haven’t ever had a bad experience before. But that encounter really didn’t sit...

I used to love chicken salad chick and if u ask me about any outside of Panama City you’ll probably get a good review. After waiting a day and a half in line (over exaggeration I know) during the after lunch hours which should be the slowest. My food was wrong. So I had to take it back inside. Then when I got in there, the tiny little girl behind the counter didn’t believe me and opened all my food without gloves and it looked like she touched it. Eww. Covid. Just eww. I don’t think she did but why open up all my good and not believe me? It’s Mac and cheese. You think I’ll bring all my food, receipt and such back in from the drive through to steal some Mac and cheese? The food that was wrong was on top and it was just missing a side. Why touch everything. Maybe worry less about someone stealing some Mac and cheese and your personality when dealing with customers. She apologized for the drive through forgetting my food but continued to treat me like I was trying to get something for free. If they want to stay in business they may want to hire better people. If u want chicken salad chick, go to the beach and save yourselves the rude workers....
