Mattress Firm East 23rd Street — Hotel in Panama City

I came into Mattress Firm store in Panama City, Florida looking for a particular brand of mattress and tried all of them, and they were all fine. Then I went over and tried the brand of mattress I had previously . The sales rep let me try all the mattresses that I wanted, she even let me try the two mattress brands that I was looking for with the adjustable frame. I didn’t go in to the mattress store looking for a mattress with an adjustable frame. I just couldn’t see the point behind an adjustable frame when I mostly sleep on my side. I was wrong!!. She adjusted the head and the Foot sections and I was immediately sold on adjustable frames. I was absolutely astounded at how much pressure was off my lungs and my chest with just those two adjustments in the head and the foot sections. I could breath easier lying on my back; that was nearly impossible before (I have sleep apnea). That breathing easier feeling was the same in both mattress brands that I tried. I eventually went with the mattress I had before which was a Stearns and Foster with the adjustable bedframe. The Purple mattress, which is what I went in looking for gave me the support That I needed. But the Stearns and Foster was more firm and Better suited my structural Issues, with the adjustable bedframe. I was very pleased with the sales rep. She let me try all the mattresses I was interested in and then she gave me a couple choices of other mattress brands to try out. There was no pressure, no sales pitch, Just information about the mattresses and the adjustable bed frames for me to make my own decision. That Style has always been my preference. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I had been trying to get a used bed, probably a lumpy and not the greatest quality for a week now, any bed I found, I struggled to get it to my home. I walked into Mattress Firm this evening as an absolute last resort, told my hubby there’s no point, we won’t get one from here. Immediately opening the door Annah greeted us making me at least feel comfortable walking in. I done my application for financing, wasn’t approved for it. However Annah was determined to get us off the floor today. We gave her a number, she took us to look at a few different beds. We were just about to walk out as she told us she had something else we can discuss. Annah made it happen, guys. We walked out with not only a mattress, but a frame as well. I can not thank her enough- aside from the point my husband gets to say ” I told you so”🙄🤣. To Annahs manager, this lady is the upmost kind person I have ran into since moving to Florida. My wife went to mattress firm and purchased mattress and frame. After spending close to $3000 on mattresses and bedding and accessories bed was delivered. She had been told that old mattress and frame would be picked up. However upon delivery, the delivery personnel said truck was full and could not do pick up. I came home from work and called mattress firm and they said that they would do the pick up the following Monday. After waiting two days past Monday with no pick up I then called again. Was told that someone would call me in reference to pick up. No one called. I called again and am now being told that they will not do pick up. Checked on return and I’ve been told there will be no over $200.00 dollar restocking fee. I’ve also been told that they do not take the machinery back. And that charge will stay. My ultimate concern is if their service is like this immediately following the purchase how will it be if we have warranty problems in the future.
