Read moreOn my visit, I found the manager and employees were really, really rude and published wrong-priced products. Please be very careful while shopping; they are not just rude. The atmosphere in the store was tense, with staff members dismissing customer inquiries without a second thought. Additionally, the misleading pricing led to confusion at the store, feeling disheartened, wishing for a more welcoming environment that prioritizes customer service. Plus, their academy policy also has a price match they don't follow either. I am going to call their corporate office to complain about their inappropriate behavior. I am a regular customer, but their manager is not worried about that; she is just more concerned about shouting and insulting! I am recording for our vlogs and then she started and let her know many times that we have on camera that the prices she is ringing are wrong. Not only are we ready to pay whatever it is, but she is so loud without listening! If corporate or the owner is reading this, they can reach out to me! If I am able to shop and pay $270, I won't mind paying or worrying about $20 extra; it's all about the way your employees are dealing with customers. So sorry, really bad experience with this academy store. Plus, you guys are not going to get our business, and we are local and will tell our community about these incidents. Manager Name : Ms Meg ( on duty ) employee...
Read moreTruly rude customer service from Kenzie. I purchased ammo from Academy yesterday but accidently bought the steel casing and not the brass. Our shooting range will only let us have brass and it is not recommended to run through Sig. Went this morning to exchange on the way to the range, she was not happy I interrupted her talking to one of her male coworkers by walking up to register. She was being snarkt about me not having the receipt and I told her cashier never gave me one, it listed Academy on the box and told her I am only asking to swap. She said well I dont know what you want me to do about it with no receipt and we aren't supposed to swap ammo. She pointed to a little sign away from the register and said see the sign is right there and asked me "well you didn't see it?". I said I bet alot of customers dont notice that small sign it isn't even where the registers are. She made a point to say yeah most customers see it every day. I understand policy I dont understand the attitude. She then made a point in saying twice we will only do this once and never again. Me and my aunt buy at least 250-300 rounds of ammo once a week individually and her rudness makes me want to go back to purchasing on line from another source. We usually get treated like customers so its sad to see She is on the...
