My family & I have been coming to Jin Jin 88 here on 23rd Street since the spring of 2013. It's a small family-owned/operated 'Mom & Pop' Chinese restaurant with AMAZING food cooked to order promptly, hot, & fresh. They just re-opened this week after a five-month closure due to a forced relocation of multiple long-time tenants out of the 23rd Street Walmart Shopping Center to make room for a new 'Big Box' store. I’m guessing I came in at a bad time , one of the workers was upset about something and they both seemed to have attitudes . When I came to get my order she told me that it was pork lo Mein which I know for a fact was incorrect because I don’t even eat pork! I ordered beef , huge difference but the food was good minus the fact that I had to pick pork out of my meal . We were a party of 4, one Celiac, Gluten intolerant, looking for a Gluten Friendly Chinese dine in. We found it here. Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, one was celiac herself, and assisted in making gluten friendly selections. Food was excellent/delicious, I had Chicken Mei Sun, thin rice noodle, (gluten friendly) went back two days later for the same.
