I thought La Isla Restaurant - Arlington couldn’t get any better , but I was so wrong! The Pantego location knocked my socks off. The place is straight fire 🔥. I’m talking a 4 alarm fire . If you like cocktails, have a frozen Strawberry Margarita 🍓. You will be pleased. The ceviche is some of the best that I’ve had, and they give you a lot. It is literally an entree. I opted for the Ceviche Toastada on my second visit. Still so much Ceviche on the tostada! The Chicken Enchiladas Verde were DELICIOUS . 🤤 They make sum unforgettable Charro beans. You can’t go wrong with La Isla. The amazing part is the prices are beyond reasonable. I had an appetizer, an entree and a frozen margarita for $26. Lots of value at this place. If you are looking for quality Mexican food and drinks at an incredible price, with friendly service, please go check out La Isla Restaurant-Pantego. You can thank me later. 😉

I have heard great things about this restaurant so I was excited to go. We were there on a Saturday night and it was not busy at all. The service was super friendly and we made the tail end of happy hour with a $5 Margarita. The food lived up to my expectations. Everything was great. My garlic white fish was fantastic, the only part that was lackluster was the side of previously frozen vegetables. My husband had the whole fried catfish and thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband has an uncommon food allergy, and the waiter and kitchen staff were exceptionally attentive to taking care of him. The shrimp quesadilla and queso blanco were phenomenal.

Service was above par, food was fantastic. Not overly seasoned as some places are. Very flavorful and the Carne Asada was cooked fork tender! The combo nachos appetizer could have been a meal in itself! Basic margarita was delightful. Servings vs price were definitely generous. Glad to see a Great Place going in this former great place. Looking forward to returning again and again. Marta was a joy to have as a server!! Kudos across the board.

The combo nachos appetizer could have been a meal in itself! Basic margarita was delightful. Servings vs price were definitely generous. Glad to see a Great Place going in this former great place. Looking forward to returning again and again. Marta was a joy to have as a server!! Kudos across the board.

La Isla provides an all-around comfortable experience in that it's never crowded or noisy and you will NEVER have to wait for a table, but it's a cut above fast food. I absolutely love their cheese enchiladas con carne and their rice and beans, but they also have great tamales and flautas. Everything is always piping hot and fresh--oh, and they have great chips and salsa too!

The servers are very friendly and do very well to keep drink glasses filled and plates cleared. If you want to linger, that's fine; but if you want to get in and out quickly but want something a little better than a run-of-the-mill fast food joint, La...
