Mad Mike's Ice Cream was very delicious! I don't know how I've missed this place for so long. I'm not one that usually wants ice cream but I'm craving it from here and I have to go back soon. They have some great flavors I definitely want to try. This visit, my daughter chose mint and chocolate chip (her favorite, until now) and I had the red velvet. My daughter stole mine half way through and loved it so much it became her new favorite. We also sampled the cookie monster which was great as well. I can't wait to try the apple pie and strawberry cheesecake! It was a nice cozy place inside with a few tables and some great ice cream decor. They also have a loyalty punch card. It won't take us long to fill that card for a free ice cream! The girls working that night were great. Very friendly and patient with some first timers. Thank you for the outstanding dessert! Worst service ever... I've been in there a few times like the ice cream, like to support local businesses. But this last time I walked in with my daughter the older woman behind the counter was very dry and when asked about the ice cream she would only give yes or "yeah" and no answers. The next two families walk in (who were clearly lighter skinned then us) got the royal treatment, with the hello, and welcome, yes ma'am, no sir, her vocabulary miraculously double. On the other end of the store where you have pop corn and candy was being managed by an even older woman which was even less helpful not a "hello" or can "I help you". She scowled at me and my daughter the entire time we were in there, it's a candy store and kids would be your easiest sale, but it was obvious we weren't her "ideal" customers. I LOVE Mad Mike's ice cream!!! It is 100 times better than store bought ice cream because it is freshly made on site by Mike himself!! There are MANY selections, and I have tried most of them. My favorites are lemon crunch, chocolate, strawberry, coconut, and pumpkin (available in the fall). The employees are all friendly and helpful...also knowledgeable about the ice creams. My favorite employee is Tiffany...I always appreciate her smiles, product knowledge, and friendliness. Although my doctor has outlawed my ice cream consumption (for my health purposes) I still like to visit occasionally just to remember how good the ice cream is and to say hello!
