This is Wings! — Restaurant in Panthersville

I stopped there on my way home to get a takeout menu and they had none, so I found the number on-line and called it about 5 times within an hour, it went straight to voice mail every time.

I went in to place my order for two around 8:30pm on Friday night and did not get out of there until 9:15 p.m. 45 minutes on a Friday night isn't terrible, except there was no Air Conditioning in the place. It was still 90 degrees outside, and inside it had to be 100 with all the stoves and Fryers going. I was sweating the entire time.

The Food: Wings, Philly, Fries and Egg Rolls- it all was good, but all the chicken restaurants on this block are good, nothing set it apart in a good way, but it was definitely set apart in a bad way. The wait, the heat, and not being able to call in advance sucked.

The food was not good enough for me to go back, I can pick another wing spot 60 seconds away and be able to call my order in and get just as good food.

I love the wings but the owner's attitude was very disappointing. Not sure I'll return after my last experience. While waiting on my order, the young lady behind the counter gave a homeless man one of the free water cups so he could get a drink (it was 100+ degrees out). Both owners (husband and wife)strongly disapproved and angrily reprimanded her in front of me and the other customers. I offered to pay for the drink but the owner angrily said he did not want me to pay and then resumed his confrontation with the young lady. It bothered me because 1) he was speaking to her in public and in a disrespectful tone, 2) both he and his wife pounced on her and won't let her speak and 3) he, the owner said he could not afford to give the homeless guy free drink. I am a foodie and one of my places that I go to now and again is this is wings. Yesterday I went and the Asian lady behind the counter not only tried to cheat me by obviously raising the price but was very nasty as far as her attitude. I am very educated but came from the rough streets of Manhattan and know a insult when One is being demonstrated. I am part asian and her attitude was of the most disrespectful nature according to our culture as well. This community supports this establishment and should be treated with respect. I will not shop at this location again and have also spread the word to well established church members, neighborhood organizations and everyday beautiful people not to purchase from this establishment.
