WNB Factory - Wings & Burger — Restaurant in Georgia

Went to this location a few days ago. Ordered two 2 piece whiting fish platters. $12.99 each and thought I saw that a drink was included. Asked about the drink and was told there was an additional charge of $2 per meal, I politely said…”no thank you!” That’s ridiculous! And if you don’t want fries and would like vegetable fried rice that’s another $2-3 dollar charge. This highway robbery especially when the food was not that great. Took about 20 minutes to get my food and once I got it and the person opened up the trays for me to see the food, it looked like catfish. I just accepted it because it was a little after 8:30pm, I was tired, and ready to go home, and they were going to be closing soon. Didn’t feel like waiting another 20 minutes or debating with the person behind the counter about the type of fish. Got home my husband opened up his food and I told him about it not being whiting but catfish, and he said…this is talapia. I assume they’re passing talapia off for whiting and probably catfish. I stopped to look the menu for a while, and after I created my order in my head, I went ahead and ordered. I’m not sure why, but the prices on the menu were not the prices that I paid but whatever. The cashier was so uninterested in didn’t bother, they even open his mouth when I stepped up to the register he just looked at me and nodded his head. I thought this was strange, but I had decided to try their food already, so I ordered a burger and a five piece wing which I paid three dollars more for the price on the menu but whatever. The real problem was the food. The burger patty seemed old and was majorly, overcooked and flavorless, not to mention the portion of meat compared to the portions of lettuce and tomato was laughable. After salting it to the gods my tastebuds finally deemed it edible. The wings were so old and dry and over cooked that they literally turned into shards if the pieces changed direction in your mouth as you chewed. These most definitely are those wings that they fry part of the way and then leave sitting above the fryer for hours and cook slowly as people order them. Be very cautious ordering...

Each location this and the last time seem to cook in burned grease which ruins whatever taste it's supposed to have. I only ordered again after the last bad experience because I thought it was maybe the location but this location also cooks fresh food in burned grease. The last location near Riverdale had an even stronger burned taste. I ordered that time because I had a friend I wanted to taste the food and thought they would enjoy because my very 1st experience was a good one and ended up spending $40 and being embarrassed by how both our food smelled highly burned before opening the box and to find neither was burned and it was the grease. So I just tried it once more at this location on Candler and had a similar bad experience and was disappointed.
