If you like lots of selections for pizza, this is your place! They have everything from plain cheese to gyro pizza! They also have other items as well. Our group got cheese toast, gyro pizza, meat lovers, cheese, a few custom ones, and chili cheese fries. Everything was very good and well made. The pizzas aren't overly salty or over seasoned. The sauce isn't spicy or overly sweet, it's hard to explain as I've never had sauce quite like it anywhere else... all I know is that it's good. The crust is a mix between typical hand tossed and Chicago deep dish. It's a little chewy and a little crunchy. The right amount of cheese and toppings. They could use a little more sauce in my opinion but I like a saucy pizza. The cheese toast is very simple but delicious. The chili cheese fries were phenomenal! If you don't like fennel in sausage, skip their sausage. The staff didn't know much about the ingredients, so if you have allergies be extra cautious. (I get it though, that's a lot of ingredients to keep track of).

The atmosphere is fun and unique! They have anchored booths downstairs, I'm not sure about upstairs. Parking is interesting, but seems to be enough. The only complaints from our group were that that you can't get water unless it's bottled and the bathrooms were gross.

The other customers were so friendly and fun too, which made our experience extra fun! We will be back next time we're in the area. They also have activity sheets and crayons for the kiddos too...

I am not sure what the other raters are comparing this pizza to? If the only choice is no pizza then I suppose 5 stars. If the comparison is perfect pizza then 2 stars. Crust: too thick, doughy and under cooked, soggy on top. It did have some good toothsomeness which makes me think that the recipe is decent but either the ovens or cooks are poor quality. The fact that the bottom of the crust was undercooked and the top of the crust was soggy, while the cheese was well cooked suggests to me that the oven surface was not hot enough and possibly the entire oven was not hot enough. Potentially the pizza was sauced and then sat absorbing tomato water before being cooked. Cheese: Too much. Pretty much everything was too much - I could forgive this as a style choice if the pizzeria understood how to deal with the excess. The cheese texture and taste was Midwest style mozzarella - if there was a mix it wasn't evident. Overall, average pizza done Minnesota Style (it tries to cover it's shortcomings by drowning them in cheese). If you want an entire block of cheese shredded over mushy bread then this may be just your ticket. On the other hand, this is probably the best pizza experience I have had in rural MN (+1 star for being potentially the best local joint). TLDR: if you go out for pizza in this area Rocky's is worth a visit but isn't worth a road-trip...

Had a new nice drive from Moorhead to Park Rapids today and we went to eat at Rocky's pizza. We had a medium Big Mack pizza it had plenty of lettuce and thousand island dressing. Also cheese, pickles, onions and sausage. I really liked it. We had deep dish crust. But even medium was too big next time we eat pizza there we would order a small pizza even though both of us are big appetite. The bread sticks were so homemade tasting and great. The staff recommended the cheesy garlic toast. Next time maybe the food there very hearty filling you won't leave hungry. There are restrooms and a nice seating area. Lots of different menu items and very helpful staff not under staffed. Great pizza joint.
