Goldberg’s Original Bagels — Restaurant in Park Ridge

This place is a joke I had a pickup here for uber eats. When I Arrived I saw the order sitting on a table and asked if the order was ready the kid behind the counter said now it was gonna be a few minutes. So I stood there for more than 20 minutes and then I started to get angry because I knew that the order was ready from the time I got there so. I asked him again if he could please get me my order and he said oh it's gonna take five more minutes. Now just to let everybody know. It was a bagel and cream cheese and 2 orange juice. So I eventually told him that I know the order is there and to please give it to me. He eventually handed it to me after 30 minutes of waiting. And because of his Ability to be so stupid I was late to my delivery and now I'm out $25 because of him and because he took so long to give. Me my order when it was ready from the moment I walked in.

It baffles me that the kid in the Yankees had his allowed to work there if hes that stupid especially when he stood busy talking and I. Know that the orders there and he? Makes me. Weigh and play. And weigh? How can you have somebody like that work there it's ridiculous.

I've never seen a place Full of people that were so stupid in my life if it takes me 30 minutes to get to the delivery. How do you not have an order ready at that point when there was nobody in the store? And then when I told you that it's ready you said it's no And because of the stupid kid in the Yankees had. I'm now out almost $25 since I had a pay for the order. That's OK though because to my thousands of friends the follow me from that town. I will make sure that I sync that please once in for all because that experience was just ridiculous and I'm going to post my story...

Bagels are good but considerably smaller. Staff needs to get it together...went a few times since they opened and always had an issue with the order. One girl was particularly spot on...wish i knew her name...she came to the rescue, figured things out was polite and courteous...she might be the only reason I head back.

March 8th, 2019...five months later I have nothing good to say about this place. The owner or head honcho is as rude as they come...his customer service skills leave a lot to be desired. They are also dishonest. As nice as the man cooking is he lied right to my face when I asked him if he put cheddar on the sandwich...when I opened it up at work it was clearly american cheese. Customer behind me orders three bagels and for each one (so 3x ) states she would like them buttered on BOTH sides...I stood there and watched them put a clump of butter on one side and barely even spread it. Same lady goes out to her car and says she will be right back to pick up the bagels and rude owner says out loud he doesn't care what she does...it wasn't even mumbled and he looked right at me when he said it! As good as their flagels are and as convenient as it is for me, I will take my business elsewhere from now on. I don't trust...

Goldbergs Bagels is an absolute gem of an establishment. From the moment you step foot in the door, you're greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The customer service is truly outstanding, thanks in large part to the fantastic worker, Michael. He's quickly learned my order and always greets me with a smile and a friendly "the regular?".

Not only is the customer service top-notch, but the food is absolutely delicious. The bagels are some of the best I've ever had, and I've tried quite a few in my day. But Goldbergs doesn't stop there - their other menu items are just as fantastic. I've tried a few and have been blown away every time.

I recently moved back to the area from Minnesota, and it's been so nice to have a place like Goldbergs to start my mornings. Michael even refers to me as the "Minnesota guy" - it's little touches like that that really make Goldbergs stand out.

I've done my fair share of bagel store hopping, trying to find the best one around. And I can safely say that the search is over. Goldbergs Bagel Company and their amazing staff have won me over.
