TL;DR = go for the All You Can Eat menu
I’ve been here five times already, so this review will be a mix of positive and negative and I obviously feel it’s worth coming back :)
The miso always seems to be a hit or a miss as to whether it’s properly prepared or watery. The clear soup tastes like water with the tiniest bit of chicken powder.
House salad has too much dressing, and the dressing is a bit watered down, which I was fine with because it meant less dressing sticking to my salad.
The gyoza is nice and crispy, and the flavor is nice, though the filling is mostly filler and has very little meat.
Several of their sauces are more mild than I’m accustomed to with other Asian restaurants, which I personally like. They don’t drown their chicken in sauce, and the chicken is mostly meat with a thin layer of breading, so you get a mouth full of meat (not a mouth full of soggy breading like I’ve gotten at other places).
If you’re ordering off the All You Can Eat menu, the portions are much smaller, which allows you to more easily sample various items.
Rolls with sushi on top had very small pieces of sushi on them the first time I ordered them, but had significantly more on my next visit, so I guess that’s also a hit or a miss. Every visit, I’m content with the amount of fish in the rolls and nigiri.
Ice cream is about what you’d expect from ice cream. Chocolate cake is very dry, but flavor is decent. Fried Oreo is great, but that’s a given.
I’ve ordered various items off their menu that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed, and there are many more items that I will be trying in future visits.
The atmosphere is very chill. The booths have screens dividing them, so unless you’re short like I am, you don’t have to stare at the people in other booths.
Front end staff all smile and help create a welcoming and friendly environment.
Overall, every visit has been a nice experience and I will definitely be returning here.
The All You Can Eat is $24change (after tax) for adults, and lower pricing for kids. I think most people will end up spending about that much on their entrees, so it’s definitely worth it to just go for the All You Can Eat menu.

Read moreI was a regular at Shogun, so I was pretty devastated to see it leave. I was stoked, however, when I learned that it was being replaced by another sushi/hibachi joint. I came at lunchtime and ordered two sushi rolls. The two roll combo came with a big salad and ginger dressing. I ordered a miso soup because it came with one or the other. The sushi was delicious and tasted fresh. The salad was iceberg, but came with carrots and red cabbage. The ginger dressing was very good. The miso soup was pretty standard. My husband got the steak hibachi. The steak was yummy and cooked perfectly medium, which surprised me. It too came with salad or soup. Outside of the food, the atmosphere was very clean and the staff was welcoming. They also have kid friendly menu options. I can't speak to that as our kids were not with us at the time. Needless to say, we will...
Read moreThe all you can eat sushi was very good and felt worth it for the price. I was able to order multiple different rolls and got to try a nice variety. Sadly I didn’t take pictures of the food ordered, but I tried the tuna tataki (9/10), dragon roll (10/10), Philadelphia roll (7/10), fantastic roll (10/10), and the true love roll (looks 10/10, taste 8/10). They also have hibachi and have a dine in menu that doesn’t come with all you can eat that I would like to try next visit. The service was really nice. Servers prebussed when the food was eaten and were on top of refills. It does take a little while for the food to come out, but I understand that due to it all be made to order. The atmosphere was the similar to shogun’s (the restaurant they replaced). Not bad all though. Used to be dark, however that made it much brighter. Fairly cozy. All in all I...
