Napoli's Pizza — Restaurant in Parkersburg

I called to order the pizza special with pepperoni although I didn’t want the pepperoni the agent said I had to get it with pepperoni if I want the sale price. I told her to make a note for them to go lite on the pepperoni then she said I’m required to get the full order I wanted sausage instead I wouldn’t have even cared if the pepperoni was on the side I was willing to pay for it but since they’ve made it so difficult to get the sale items I said forget it and ordered elsewhere. The prices are absolutely ridiculous there anymore anyway and it’s going to be awhile before I order again and I normally ordered about twice a month. Napolis was my real first job when I was in high school 30+ years ago and I have no idea what happened that service has gotten so horrible I will say they are with no doubt one of the cleanest restaurants if not the cleanest around that’s one thing the Waldecks are very picky about I just wish they would get back to customer service as a former CWC cs trainer and lead my expectations are high and at this point Napolis is a 1 out of 10...

I post this only in the hopes of getting the owner’s attention. I have loved the veggie patch pizza for years, but have to modify it, and I add bacon. With my modifications, 9t had 10 toppings. I asked for Very, very well done which was in the notes. The pizza dough was doughy, near raw on top. Hint, if you pick up a slice and it tears, your pizza is undercooked.

I have dealt with this and continue to order, but end up baking in a preheated 500 degree oven for an additional 10-12 minutes. Even a pepperoni with onions and bacon - 3 toppings, with the same very, very well done request wasn’t fully baked.

Now, I admit, I want crisp - cracker crisp crust in every bite. But raw dough, when you ask for very, very well done, is kind of ridiculous.

Do better. Your sauce is on point. Your dough is meh - too bready, and not nearly baked enough, even...

The ingredients are amazing that pizza sauce is absolutely perfect.. the staff not so much. Waitress forgot half our order. My food came out still frozen in the center, which wouldn't have bothered me to much except for the fact I heard the cook I. The kitchen yell to the waitress as she was bringing it to me , "I don't know if it's cooked all the way yet but I hope it is haha". I feel like the place would be a great restaurant if they would higher a better staff. Not to mention every person I saw working there looked like they were at most 17 years of age.
