Fetterman's Deli is one of those spots that feels like a hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the kind of old-school deli charm that’s getting harder to find. Friendly faces behind the counter, the smell of fresh bread, and the low hum of regulars chatting over sandwiches.
The star of the show here is definitely the sandwich menu. Whether you go for the towering pastrami, a classic Reuben, or one of their house specialties, the ingredients are always fresh and portions are generous. The meats are sliced thick and piled high, and the bread... whether it’s marble rye, a kaiser roll, or a hoagie is always on point. Don’t sleep on the sides either.
Service is fast and personable. Even during the lunch rush, things move efficiently, and the staff seems to know a lot of the regulars by name, which adds to the welcoming vibe.
Prices are reasonable considering the quality and size of the meals. It’s the kind of place where you leave full, happy, and maybe even with half a sandwich for later.

Read moreWe had been looking forward to having a convenient deli nearby, especially with so many options. Unfortunately, the poor service is out waying both the food quality and convenience.
We placed a lunch takeout order which quoted 50 minutes to be complete; which is fine but I expect the order to be completed with that kind of lead time. Upon arrival I had to request for someone to help me as all the employees were having individual conversations; not a big deal since they weren't busy but look at the damn counter!
Order wasn't ready and took an additional several minutes; again not busy. I then had to remind them that we had ordered chips so I didn't look like a thief. When we opened the bag for lunch, the sandwiches weren't correct and the instructions on bread and a light ingredient were never followed.
This isn't the first time we've had these issues and it's growing increasingly frustrating. Dine at...
Read moreI was pretty excited to try this place out. Made my first visit this evening. Five teenagers were on staff but seemingly no supervision for the evening to keep them on task or focused on customers. The workers mostly seemed more interested in talking with each other while taking a rather pedestrian time making food. Little to no situational awareness of people in the shop. A couple seemed to be going through closing procedures and cleaning although closing time was still an hour away. By the time we got our two sandwiches, 20 minutes had passed. Nobody in line at the register before us but 1 or 2 smaller online or call-in orders.
There was some good news: sandwich was tasty. Order was made correctly. Ample chips and soda/beverage selection.
All in all, I’ll go back but I’m not in any rush. Plenty of other sit down restaurants to drive by and wait for a sit down meal if I want to wait 20...
