The entire crew at JJ's, Tom Watson Pkwy, Parkville, Mo, should be given special recognition for going above & beyond to help an old disabled veteran & his dogs.
Both of my dogs were diagnosed with cancer in April. As their cancers spread, their appetites lessened, making palliative care quite difficult. They still showed an interest in eating JJ's roast beef. The crew at this store always took the time to wrap up a side of roast beef for my ailing werewolves, & then always found the least expensive way to ring it up--saving me $ and earning my loyalty! Other stores, such as the one in Leavenworth, KS, stated that it was "impossible" for them to wrap up sides of anything; even when I explained it was for my two dying dogs.
I lost my Terrier, on 07/11/20; and most recently, my Border Collie, on 11/04/20. They were my only family. Adjusting to a life without them will be tough. But at least I have 13 years of great memories with them---included in those memories, are the times spent hand-feeding them their most favorite food in the whole world, JJ's roast beef. Please reward that entire crew with something special, for taking the time out of their busy day to show compassion for an old combat veteran and his furry...

We’ve placed multiple orders for delivery and tipped every time and more often than not, they call saying they are too busy to deliver or don’t deliver anything and we are left waiting. We had to call tonight after an hour to figure out where our order was, we were informed the driver “attempted to call” (we didn’t receive a single call or text) and that “if he was willing to deliver our sandwich, it would be at least 30 minutes”. What do you mean “willing to deliver”? We paid for sandwiches and tipped, obviously we are wanting our food. And why were we not informed so we can make other arrangements? This is the worst jimmy johns with the worst service. We were told we had to pickup our sandwiches that had been sitting there for at least an hour at that point or get a refund. We wouldn’t have tipped and paid a fee to get them delivered if we could’ve just picked them up ourselves. I called to address the issue and the “manager” on duty was very argumentative with me and demanded I drive 15 minutes back to the store right then and there to return the sandwhiches. I explained I wouldn’t be able to bring the sandwiches until after a movie we were rushing to get to and already bought tickets for (so a few hours tops) and he said “oh well then I can’t help you, I did the bread myself today and know it’s not hard” … and hung up the phone in my face. I would have happily come and exchanged the sandwiches for fresh bread after the movie, no problem. But he said that was not an option and provides zero other options or any level of customer service at all. He was rude, condescending, unprofessional, and should not be a manager anywhere.
