The Cosmic Bean — Restaurant in Pasadena

The Cosmic Bean has quickly become a favored coffee shop in Pasadena. I was particularly drawn to the authentic and rustic atmosphere of the establishment. While the menu is thoughtfully curated, the Chai Latte with Vanilla Cold Foam and the flavorful Jalapeño Kolache were both excellent choices. The standout item, however, is undoubtedly their innovative 'Cronut' (croissant-donut hybrid). For those seeking unique options, they also offer a selection of Asian-inspired chips and other snacks. The ambient music contributed to a pleasant environment, and the cashier/barista provided attentive and friendly service. I’m absolutely in love with this coffee shop. I’ve lost count on the amount of times I’ve been here. The baristas are welcoming and the recommendations they make haven’t failed me. The kolaches (regular and jalapeño) are delicious (they are small so if you’re hungry get two). The warm up the food too. My favorite aspect has to be the theme. I’m in love with the alien theme they have going on. They also have anime playing in a big screen. On top of all that, you can get points to eventually redeem (it honestly doesn’t take long to build up to redeem them). It’s a big breath of fresh air from other coffee shops that all have the same ambience. I cannot recommend this...

Went in the other day to check out this new spot that opened up close to where we live. Walking in, I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised with their overall aesthetic and atmosphere! We were greeted by one of the baristas and they helped us pick out some drinks. I had a sugar free Vanilla & Cinnamon Sugar ice latte and my fiance had a matcha latte. Both of them were really good, expertly made and quickly!
