EL Rinconcito Azteca — Restaurant in Pasadena

So I live close by and I eat here regularly for the most part the food is good, but what I don't like is the inconsistency in prices, they seem to change on a whim a quesadilla with onions and cilantro and sour cream on the side usually cost about $12.50 here today it cost $14.99 my mother was buying me one today when she told me how much she paid I decided to give them a call to ask why they charged more today then a couple days ago, no one on the phone new English which is weird because usually someone does when I call to place a takeout order, and then they ended up hanging up on me because I asked if someone speaks English and they said no and hung up that is just disrespectful a lot of their customers don't speak Spanish I used to like this place a lot but now I'm not going to purchase anything from them again they will charge you whatever they feel like I just hope they didn't discriminate against my mother...

Where do I even start? Well to begin with the cashier had this straight face. He had a look like if he was doing me a favor. Then food took too long, but before that I've never saw him or heard him washing his hands. From taking my order went straight to cooking with no gloves. Finally the food was done. I took it to go. The food was awful. The carne asada was very hard and chewy. (Puro cuero) and to make matters worse my daughter, and I found hair in our tacos. Not even the horchata was good it was so water down it was disgusting. So I leave it up to you if you want to take this review, or if you want to find out...

Oh.....mmmmmyGawd!!! Listen...sometimes food tastes EXTRA good, and it's because it is made with love. These people make their food with love. I literally look forward to a meal from here because it's like being served at the dinner table; it's real food. Real ingredients. Real TIME SPENT making food that has layers of flavor, is tender, juicy, ...I could go on. But I suggest you try it and get a Huareche. No really...it'll change your DNA they are that yummy. Lol.
