Jackie Robinson Community Center — Local services in Pasadena

I’ve been coming to this park since I was a kid, and it’s changed a lot over the years. The community center has been restored, which is a huge improvement, and you can really feel the effort being put into making this space better for everyone. There are always kids playing sports, families enjoying the outdoors, and a sense of community that makes this place special.

However, the outside area still has some challenges. There’s often a lot of loitering, and while it’s not as bad as it used to be, it still gives the park an unwelcoming feel at times. For a place meant to bring people together, we need to do better in making sure it’s a safe and inviting environment for all.

Pasadena is growing and becoming more diverse, and this park should reflect the best of our community. With a little more attention to the surroundings, this could easily be a five-star spot. I hope to see continued improvements...

The art pieces are absolutely creatively breathtaking. The live jazz was legendary, and I'll certainly be looking forward to more live jazz with those gentlemen as well as art showcasings at the center!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 From the free parking lot with accessible parking, well-kept landscape, very clean and inviting building inside including very clean restrooms. The hosts were incredibly kind, professional, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. They even supplied unlimited bags of delicious popcorn and chilled bottle water. With love and my dearest concernment, this VIP piece of landmark in the history of our time of expressing equality transitioning from a deep dark state of depression which has caused a lack thereof of peer to peer positive effective communication, it has amazing available helpful resources right across the street from where and why this place, will always bring about incredible memories that I experienced as a child....
