Hook Burger — Restaurant in Pasadena

I have been wanting to try this place for a while, so I was stoked to get to try it. The set up of the place is fast casual meets pub- very unique. I walked up to the counter and ordered my favorite- chicken club sandwich, sweet potato fries and a diet coke (because i love Diet Coke.) The chicken club came to me and I expected the usual deli sliced chicken, basic club sandwich. What I got was a sandwich with whole pieces of chicken on it, fresh tasting avocado, and overall delicious sandwich. The sweet potato fries were amazing and sitting at your table is a shaker of seasoned salt so you can season it to your taste- super rad. They advertise that their beef is hormone free, which is brilliant, but they advertise their chicken as "fresh," which doesn't really mean anything. The burger and regular fries are better than Habit's! Their shakes are creamier than Jack in the box. In fact, it's one of the better shakes I've had in a long time! Their food doesn't leave you filled with anguish and regret like McDonald's. The only thing they need to work on is their sweet potato fries, as it's a bit on the light side. THEY ALSO NEED TO BRING BACK THE LEMONADE!!! The new drinks are... Cool, but it's a bit on the strong side. The black Cherry will put hair on your chest regardless if you're a women, man, or a baby. Hook Burger is a classic spot. No bad things to say about it ever. The food is always great, their specialties are burgers and sandwiches, and it never disappoints. If you are traveling along the 210, finding somewhere to eat, or live in Pasadena and have never found this place, you must try it. I removed one star on the atmosphere simply because they don't have main sports channels (or at least have them playing) on the TV's around the establishment. They usually put on either CBS or the NFL Network channel, but never put on Fox Sports or ESPN, so they likely don't have these channels. (In my opinion this is not the spot one goes to if they want to watch a sports match).
