I spent night in this Motel on August 4th 2022. I’m cargo van driver and just have been driving through to the East Cost. The motel was ok like usual old 2 star motel, but A/C hadn’t been produced enough cold and room was smelling cigarettes in spite of the fact that all motels rooms are smoked-free. But it was late and I decided to stay.||||After 2 weeks I recognised that deposit didn’t return to my card. I contacted Motel and asked to figure it out. Women on the phone sad that everything is OK and deposit doesn’t go back automatically and I need to call again next morning to ask manager to make a return.||||I called back in about a week and had reached manager/owner. He already knew my name and was ready to talk to me. He sad that I left room with tons of trash and food “like you spent there 2 weeks not 1 night” and “there was cigarette smell and butts everywhere” and all the towels were used. ||||To say that I was disappointed is not to say anything. I’m 100% smoke free person and I hate anybody smoking even under my windows. I spent in room about 9 hours working on laptop and sleeping between two working days (it’s all you need when drive 10 days from cost to cost). I didn’t have anybody with me (i just don’t know any person there) and I left early morning for loads in LA area. I left key in night window because there was nobody in the office and door was locked. Nobody contacted me about my room or deposit. I asked manager why nobody tried to contact me at the moment when the inspected the room - but he sad they don’t usually contact about deposits. I asked for some proofs cuz they trying to charge me $100 and I want to know what is is for but he sad I need to request deposit back at check out after inspection. Read moreOkay lets start with we went with this hotel base off the google reviews on how clean the property and rooms were.
Location is good. Very close to the freeway. Restaurants near by as well as a Target and Walmart. Parking lot is small but felt safe. Now we checked in Saturday evening staying 2 nights; checking out Monday. When making reservation online there is nothing statings there is a $100 deposit required upon check in. So that was a unexpected surprise. We checked in and Sonja who checked us in was nice. But that was it just nice she really wasnt helpful with my complaints. The room was disgusting and smelled like cigarette smoke terribly. There was ash on the floor in the room and bathroom and the toilet was not clean very dirty. We found a died bug(roach) in the mini fridge. I was told the maid is new and they will talk to her. Now I didnt see any other bugs after the one in the mini fridge. I have a autistic son who walks hard and always moving so I always request a downstairs room. So we dont disturb the neighbors below us. They didnt have any other downstairs room so we were stuck. So I took my family at 9pm to Wal-Mart to go get cleaning supplies to try to get the cigarette smoke smell out and make us comfortable. Unfortunately it did not work and after complaining the follow day and nothing besides "I'm sorry, we'll talk to the maid". We decided to leave. It was so bad after one night in there my son and partner begin to have a dry cough. We ended up checking out early. Losing Sunday night with no refund and took our long drive home.
