VERY RUDE, DISAPPOINTING RESTAURANT. new to town and looking for a go-to sushi delivery place. Tried to order on ubereats and they immediately canceled apparently because they didnt have the sauce we requested in the notes. Not realizing that the restaurant canceled, we took 10 minutes to place the order again, and they immediately canceled again.

at this point, they couldve called to see if we could proceed without that sauce, but they did not. We tried to call but they didnt answer.

We thought it was an issue with ubereats so downloaded grubhub and took another 10 minutes to place the order again - and they immediately cancelled again. finally they called to say they were cancelling bc they didnt have the sauce we requested in the notes. they even acknowledged that they saw that we called and didnt answer. they ultimately wasted 40 minutes of our time. personally, i will never do business with a place that operates with such carelessness, rudeness,...

Horrible experience! I would have put 0 Stars if I had an option on this review . The fat woman behind the counter was rude and curt. I told her that this was my first time here and what she suggested. Instead of making a suggestion, she stood there like a mute! I was referred to this place by one of my colleagues, so I decided to give it a try. However, I should have gone to the one in near her home. This woman had a chip on her shoulder. News flash lady it is not the customer's fault you are unhappy with your career choices. Here's your tip "Go Back to school " maybe learn some customer service etiquette. While you're at it maybe pick up on how to run a business so that customers will come back and not give you poor reviews! I'd been enjoying my meals from Maki Yaki since I started ordering from them a couple of months ago (the food is good), but I learned a tough lesson with my last take out order earlier this week: check your order before leaving. Even if the bag is knotted.

I ordered two plates and a Philly Roll. The bag I received was tied up firmly, but, based on weight, it felt like everything I ordered was in there, so I went home.

However, when I cut the knot off the bag, much to my disappointment, the item I was most looking forward to (the Philly Roll) was nowhere to be found.

Considering how frequently I eat away from home, it's a small miracle that this hasn't happened to me before....
