Strawberry King — Restaurant in Pasadena

We went there a few hours after they opened the first day. We got in line and the owners son was right in from of us. He is such a cute young man, he chatted with us about what his favorite flavor is (it's a secret 😁 can't tell yall) and corrected us when we said corn dog it's a waffle dog haha. After we ordered I took over an hour to get our food which was only a waffle dog and ribbon ice cream. We were patient because it was opening day. And I can say it was worth the wait everything was delicious. I feel like the two girls making the rolled ice cream really heald things up. My daughter and her boyfriend showed up before we got our order and we didn't want to stay until they got their food so we left. After we left my daughter messaged me saying the owner felt bad that they too waited over an hour to get their order and he gave her a waffle pop. Because of the treatment of the owners which are very sweet we will definitely go back again, hopefully the wait isn't as long. This small shop is a cute and fun hangout spot. The ice cream and chamoy were delicious. They offer samples of the chamoy flavors for those who have never had it. Their products are a little pricey, but if you want to indulge, it is a recommended option. We went not long after they had opened, so there was only one lady taking orders and serving. As a result of being the only one in the shop, she took quite a long time to give us our order. Overall, I think it was a great place to have some dessert if you don't mind spending a little more for ice cream or waiting a little longer...

I've been wanting to come and visit for some time, and today was the day! My Little One turned 5, so we decided this to be the perfect opportunity for a sweet treat from Strawberry King. The King did not disappoint. The owners are very very nice, friendly, and attentive. The dessert itself was delicious, pretty to look at, and affordable.
