Burger King — Restaurant in Pasadena

I've never eaten burger king until today. The parking was confusing until I was told most of it was in the back. The crowns are cool. Very clean, though there is an odd smell that comes with every fast food place. It was rather empty when we were eating, so it was quite peaceful. Service was good. I ordered an original chicken sandwich (#9), very good, would recommend to try. The fries are good, though I prefer them without salt (I like the taste of potatoes not salt). And a medium drink. I also ordered a Hershey pie. I did not expect it to be a whipped cream pie with a cookie crust and chocolate sauce, I thought it would be ice cream. Personally, I don't like whipped cream at all, so I didn't like it and was a little disappointed at the lack of ice cream. Was about 10$ for my meal and sweet treat in total. I’ve been to this Burger King many times and my son loves it because the burgers are nice and hot. Today I stopped and placed an order and this time I ordered myself a whopper by itself and came home only to find out that by my second bite there was something in my burger. I spit it out and sure enough there was this huge piece of finger nail 🤢. I was do disgusted I drove back and spoke to the manager on site and she took a look at it. I proceeded to say just give me back my money and she said “just for this burger?” I said sure she then handed me the money but never apologized about the situation. She could have said “ I’m sorry this is unexpected, or I’ll let my supervisor know or something to the matter but she said nothing. All employees should wear gloves when working with food. I went and got dinner upon my grandmother's request. All was good until I got home and noticed the food was not fresh . When I called to complain the manager was very rude, even hung up on me. So I went back to the store to speak to her, again very rude, unprofessional and a sarcastic sorry excuse of a manager. SHE WOULDNT REFUND EITHER! The staff under her was more polite and more professional than her. I thought it was a complete joke, I couldn't believe what I was experiencing.
