This is one of my favorite restaurants, this particular one has gone down hill fast. It was filthy first thing in the morning. Where do I start we placed our order. Nachos and 2 dinner plates with only two other people in the restaurant still waiting on their orders, should have been a red flag. After about 20 min I went to check on the order and could not find one employee to ask about it. The others people had gotten their food , my tray was the only on up with just the nachos on it ... I waited for someone then finally took nachos to table to eat before they got soggy, I was to late lol . Went back to check on the rest of our food and employee comes in from back door up to the front to ask what I needed , my response, my food. She said we bring it to you.. now after about 30 min of ordering she comes with our tray , order is wrong. She seemed aggravated we asked to fix it and asked for fresh nachos. I asked why did y’all make them to leave them sitting there to get soggy if other food was not ready, the reply was it was my fault for taking the first order of soggy nachos cause the invisible cook did not remember he/she had made them so they remade one . I said well we would like fresh nachos now so she went to table next to us to pick up the fresh ones she set to the side when she realized we already had some. We got the fresh nachos. When she brought back the corrected order, they forgot my order of tortillas that came with the plate, so I had to ask her for that to as she left, she came back ,never approached our table but threw like 5 orders of tortillas on the table from a cut out in wall separating 2 dining areas. Other customers waiting in their food talking about how this location is going down hill as well & in the last month the employees got in a fight so they were short handed . Read moreThis is absolutely the worst restaurant in Pasadena, tx. Me and my wife came through the drive thru at 8 pm and ordered a taco bowl and three steak tacos. We pulled up to the drive thru well my wife got out to let the lady know who took our order that she wanted regular beans instead of refried bc yes she did say refried so she wanted to let them know before they started on our food. The lady she told was really nice and said she would make it right now. Well after sitting at the drive thru for at least 10 minutes for the one on the headset to finally open the sliding door to tell us the amount. My husband asked for beans and rice with his tacos, she took the money and he asked her " with the beans and rice it's refried beans correct?" She said okay so what kind of beans do you want and it wasn't in a nice way it was like we were bothering her, so I told my husband don't even worry about it. We waited another ten minutes for our food. She threw everything in a bag and shoved it underneath the bar, my husband asked for red and green sauce ,we only got red. My wife works in customer service and trust me I know dealing with customers takes a lot of patience but having employees who are the face of your company acting down right rude is not a good luck for taco Cabana. But as I can see with the other reviews that its been an ongoing thing for quite some time. We ended up throwing everything away when we got home bc not one thing was right, well the taco salad was and the lady my wife spoke too should be thanked for that. But the one who was doing my husbands order and was in charge of the drive through ordering( you know who you are) will be getting a complaint filled for your corporate company. Read moreThis has now got to be the worst Taco Cabana around. The drive through is horrible, I ordered food for the family and two fajita tacos for me.....1 steak and 1 chicken. When I got to the window the manager came to the window to let me know they didn't have any fajita chicken and ask if I would take another steak taco instead. I said sure and then I ask her what about the chicken quesadilla...... she said they use shredded chicken for those and pre make them...?
So when they food came, I got everything but the tacos and another lady said they were making the tacos. I waited for a few minutes and another lady came and tried to hand me a large box and a bag. I asked her what was in the box and she said my quesadilla and I ask what was in the bag she said 3 tacos. I told her I had already gotten my other food and was waiting in 2 steak tacos. She said that was not on my order...I ask to speak with the manager who I just spoke to. The manager came over to the window and acted like we never had a conversation about the tacos. I ask for a refund on the tacos and they ask for all the food back! I said I wanted a refund on the tacos....not everything.
So come to find out what happened was she deleted the tacos from the order when they didn't have any chicken and did not add them back as steak.... realizing she screwed up, she tried to deny we had the conversation instead of fixing the error.
Needless to say the "pre-made shredded chicken" quesadillas came with steak.....and I of course never got any...
