I am very disappointed to have to make this review. I spoke highly of this company until very recently. Take 5 performed a coolant exchange on my vehicle. The night of the service had tons of complications however I did not get upset or rude but I trusted this company. When performing my coolant exchange , there were issues with them operating the machine properly. Coolant exploded all over my engine bay.NOT ONCE! NOT TWICE BUT THREE times! After all of this , I still remained calm and understanding. They then called a manager to assist. He came and performed. They told me they’d clean the engine but don’t be alarmed if I smell coolant for a while. I went to work which was literally next door. The following morning, I head home. I don’t get to the stop sign without my car overheating drastically. I’m freaking out because the location is closed at this time but I was able to file a claim with the brand’s customer service. One of the managers calls me back to ask what happened . I told him my car overheated because they didn’t put the correct amount of coolant in my car and I’m VERY concerned about my head gasket at this point. I appreciate him for offering to redo the service properly , free of charge but the damage was still there. My car never drove the same afterwards .After finally having to time to get my car to my mechanic since I work overnight, he informed me that the head gasket was Blown due to that overheating issue.
I try to get in touch with the main manger for weeks at this point and he’s done nothing but avoided me and not return my phone calls. He refuse to send my information to the district manager as well. He never offered any resolutions to this issue clearly caused by this company. Everything is documented. I’ve never had an issue with my engine overheating until the coolant exchange issue. Now I’m a college student without a car with the fall semester starting soon. PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE AND STAY AWAY. Any damages that happen to your car, they WILL NOT be honest and try to resolve this issue. Read moreStop by Take 5 on Hwy 90 in Pascagoula yesterday. This is my 3rd visit to this location. Great crew. All of the guys in shop are upbeat and very nice. Offer you a cold bottle of water as soon as you pull up. I have turned some wrenches in my life. It is not that easy to find a quick change oil shop you feel comfortable with. These guys handle thier business and are very professional. I had oil change and coolant flush on my wife's car. I had some other questions about miscellaneous stuff. They were very helpful and I highly recommend them. Thank you, Blake, and I believe Devin for going the extra mile. The other guy in the shop also topped off the air in the tires that needed it.
