Uncle Joe's Pizza Pascagoula — Restaurant in Pascagoula

Not sure if it was the timing we got this or the people who served it but was pretty bummed on the order we received. The pizza was pretty dry, seasoning was awful, it tasted like nachos. When you’re pregnant and hungry and craving pizza and get this… it makes it even more upsetting :/. My husband could only eat one piece and I was so hungry I tried to eat the rest since we spent $20 bucks on it but it just wasn’t it. We wanted to get New York pizza but it was closed so we tried this. We were pretty disappointed and honestly could’ve bought Walmart pizza to cook at home. It was supposed to have spinach but they said they couldn’t cook the spinach on it so they sent us with a box of spinach which isn’t the same so we didn’t eat the spinach. I’m all for second chances but definitely thought it would taste better from the pictures. My husband went in person and waited for the order since we had ordered from the wrong place I guess even though I did call the number on their website so I’m not sure how...

I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but felt it necessary as the business has been open less than a week (Whether the one star reviews previously left by others recognize this or not). And I plan to report the review from the woman that grossly bad mouthed a customer service worker far beyond a reasonable amount, and if you’re reading this you should too! There’s no place for such rude and malicious comments.

Now to my actual review: personally, I thought it was great; the people that work there, the food itself, and the overall atmosphere. The pizza was delicious and everyone there was working their butt off to service a packed restaurant while still learning the ropes!

We got a large pizza and wings, both were fantastic. Will absolutely be going back!

To the team there, keep up the great work.

We're new to the area and trying all the local restaurants. We popped in here to try the pizza and wings. The waitress was friendly. Our food was not really good, it was just meh. Neither of us finished our meal, and we didn't take the leftovers home. But what really bothered me was that one of the employees (not our waitress, maybe a bartender) ran up very suddenly with our food and shoved the wings through my hair, which is long - but avoidable. She startled both of us coming up so suddenly, and she could've set the wings on the table several other ways, but she lifted them up and through my hair. So, not sure why that lady was so disgruntled, because we didn't see anything happen or have any other interaction with her besides that. But overall a hard pass...
