Magills used to be one of my favorite breakfast spot in the tri cities. But lately the food and service has gone down the drain. Went there this morning to get my favorite, at first the waitress was nice. She let everyone know how busy she was at each table took our orders, didn’t write it down though. So when we finished ordering she asked us what we got again… like okay. We told he what we got gave her our drink orders and then they brought our drinks we couldn’t taste the champagne in our mimosa so we asked he about it and she immediately got defensive saying well “she made our drinks so they should be perfect and I shouldn’t have even give you as much as I did” so seeing that she was obviously irritated and couldn’t process our simple request of getting new ones we asked for a different server, he Ramada our drinks to what they should’ve been. Now our food comes and she brings it out, I asked for one different thing on my order and if she would’ve had an order pad and written it down there should’ve been no problem. BUT SHE DIDNT WRITE OUR ORDER DOWN. So we got the wrong drinks, my order was wrong AND IT WAS COLD. Now I know how to cook and could’ve made my food at home but I wanted to go here for my breakfast and all I wanted was HOT food. They remade and still brought it back out just a cold.
They must’ve got rid of the good cook and servers recently because this is not what I expect from Magills. Got to Just Joel’s or Angel Cafe for breakfast, you’ll be...
Read moreMy wife and I have eaten here lots of times in the past this was our first time coming back since all of the covid BS. I have to say I was thoroughly disappointed I had a chili burger and the chili was completely dry and pasty like it had been sitting on the burner without being stirred for over 4 or 5 hours. it was not very tasty. My wife had the chicken parmesan and it also was very bland. We used to come to magill's a lot because their food was very delicious and they made a lot of foods with a lot of unique things such as the cougar cheese etc This time around it was like any other restaurant; might as well have just been eating off the Cisco food truck. They brought us our food and at this point we were the only people there minus the people for GrubHub etc. I had to get up and go get my own barbecue sauce from the counter then I had to get up to get my own refill because once they dropped off our food nobody came back to see if we needed anything or if our food was okay. When I went to the counter for my tea the food server that was now on his break eating his food finally got up and asked me if I needed a refill. Didn't wash his hands, didn't put any more ice into my glass for my iced tea, and just poured the tea into the cup. Needless to say I didn't drink it after that the service and the food were entirely disappointing hopefully they'll get things...
Read moreWe came here with excitement as the reviews all seemed to be high. It was far from delightful. First off … where we sat wreaked of mildew. We were next to a vent and it just smelled so so bad. Not what you want at a sit down restaurant. The table was really dirty and so was the high chair The food was not fresh as in it was all frozen items. The I only thing in house that seemed decent was the cougar gold sauce - but that was it. I really really don’t understand how this place has such high remarks. There’s so many better places in town… Also I wanted to mention that the restroom smelled strongly of mildew as well. I will always tell some one to steer clear of this place. Might as well go to McDonald’s where you know you will be faced with mediocrity. I’m also never one to review so strongly but I just had to let it be known. I definitely recommend someone who has made it this far in my novel to go to Sage Porte grill for a delicious and unique (and house made) breakfast or if you wish to stay in pasco, check out Andy’s north or Angels cafe! If you’re the owner reading this, I appreciate you for being a part of the community and I understand it’s hard to do what you do but I felt the need...
