Viera's Bakery — Restaurant in Pasco

I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received here. I came in from out of state, eager to buy some Mexican bread and support a local business. Earlier that day, I had ordered a birthday cake for my mom over the phone. When I asked if I could pay in person, I was told no, so I went ahead and paid over the phone. Later that same day, when we went to get some bread, we noticed a cake with fruit on it and thought it would be a great addition to the one I had ordered. We asked if it was possible to modify the cake order.

Unfortunately, the older lady working the front (on 8/28/25) was incredibly rude. Her attitude and responses were off-putting. We ended up canceling the cake order due to the poor customer service. The other employee in the front made unnecessary comments as well.

prices are not posted anywhere. I ask them once how come they dont post the price on the bread. and they said that its because they always move the bread around. well they don't have to put the price next to the bread. They could just put a sign somewhere high where everyone can see it with the picture, name and price of each kind of bread. The reason they don't post the price is so that they can charge you what ever they want. The bread is good but service is bad. Also they need to do something about the trays. Its so frustrating that you always have to cut the line of people waiting in line to pay to get a tray. And when you are the one waiting other people are doing that same. Love Viera's! ALWAYS fresh tasty bakery items. They decorate their cookies for each holiday and the cookies are super cute and they taste good! The staff is ALWAYS polite and helpful and bilingual. They are a very well established business and one of Pasco's finest. I love going here for a treat. Downtown Pasco struggles with a growing homeless population please don't let those who may be near the building stop you from going in or reflect on this business negatively.
