I wish I didn't have to give it a star. Ok it's time for lunch! I decided to go to this fast food restaurant. I drove 10 minutes to get in the drive thru and it took me 15 minutes to get my order. Great, 10 minutes back to work. I opened the bag to find out that my order was wrong. I ordered a 1/2lb western burger with no tomatoes and a mushroom swiss 1/4lb burger. To my surprise I found some kind of chicken burger and a mushroom swiss burger with no mushrooms and with tomatoes. I have now spent about 40 minutes of my lunch and have no lunch my wife and I can eat. I call the store and talk to the manager. I explained what happened and that I have no time to get food for lunch and I only have about 10 minutes left for lunch. She said that she was very sorry to hear that and that she would be happy to replace my order the next time I come back to the store. I wasn't happy about the situation but I don't have a choice. Next day. I went back to the restaurant to try to get my order that I placed yesterday. I went inside with my receipt and asked for the manager. The girl said she would be able to help me. I explained what happened and that I was there to get my order. She went to the back and talked to her boss, she came back and said that she would replace one of the burgers. I am getting ready to blow up, so I showed her my receipt and said that she would be replacing my order completely. At this point the manager was working on the line and with out coming over to deal with me she started to talk very loud and tried to tell me that she disagreed with me. I made it very clear to her that she would be making my order that I placed yesterday and was told to come back and get it. She finally said that she would fix the problem. Now I spent 10 minutes to get here, about 12 minutes to get her to start work on the order. You would like to think that she would get my order out quickly, but 23 minutes later I got my order. I checked it to make sure it was correct. The manager made effort to try to make it right with me, nor did she once say she was sorry. By the time I got back to work 55 minutes later I still didn't get to eat lunch until my afternoon break. I did call the corporate office and told them what happened. They said that they were sorry to hear that I had such a bad experience and that they would address the situation. They also asked if they could contact me to discuss this further and let me know what happened. To this day not 1 word from them. I will not be going to any McDonald's since they don't do what they say they will. Good luck!!! And another example of wanting to be paid $15.00 per hour for not being able to do their job. This is incompetence...
   Read moreOrdered a flavored coffee on February 21,2022 at the Paso Robles, California location. Was told to wait at first window until they received the order. When I paid with my debit card the employee who took the card was unable to complete the transaction before handing the card to another employee without explaining to me why the transaction was not complete. Due to this behavior from the employees I informed them to cancel my order and to return my debit card. Had to remind them they had not returned my debit card when I got no response. I was directed to go to the second window and they had my card. I told them I didn't want the coffee, and took back my card. Several minutes later, I check my bank account and noticed $16.51 was charged just for one coffee. Called the location and informed them of the issues I had with them just making a simple order and also asked why my bill was $16.51 for the coffee. Was informed when I canceled my order that I had to be charged for a full meal in order to be refunded and that the charge to my card would get refunded. As of February 23, 2022 did not receive my refund. I will be returning to that location the next time I'm in town to further dispute...
   Read moreWas asked at second window to pull around to the front to wait for my order within a few seconds of coming to a stop. The employee that asked me to wait out front instead of at the window acted annoyed at my unwillingness to do so. When I did receive my order( 20 piece chicken nuggets, 2 cheeseburgers and 4 fries family meal), we only had 3 dipping sauces in the bag. When I asked for 1 more I was told that I would need to pay extra for additional sauces and that it was standard to only give 3 sauces for a 20 piece nugget meal. Upon leaving the drive thru the other 2 customers who ordered previous to myself were still waiting in the parking lot for their orders. This practice of asking drive thru customers to wait out front to improve wait times has been getting worse and worse recently. It is understandable to ask a drive thru customer who placed a very large order to wait out of the drive thru when there are other vehicles behind that person, but asking this of a customer placing a small order when there is no one else in line...
