San Antonio Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Passaic

Today in the afternoon we decided to go to San Antonio Restaurant. It is one of my favorite places in Passaic as I am very picky when it comes to food.

Today's afternoon everything changed and took a negative turn that I was really shocked. Well let me explain, they gave us the table and we sat down comfortably. Twelve minutes later they give us the nachos and their complimentary sauces. I don't like to involve names because people know who they are. The waitress who was on the floor ignored us in such a way that I was outraged. That same young woman took orders from 3 tables that arrived after us, passed by ours and completely ignored us. Not only that but it seemed to me that she was choosing which table to serve.

The other 2 tables had already ordered. 14 minutes later they realize that no one had taken our order. The Supervisor told the boy to take the order from us. She realized because there was no ticket from my table at the moment.They asked each other if my order had been taken and it is overheard when the young woman says I thought he had taken the order from them. After all, my table was served 38 minutes later. NO flatware to eat and they brought the wrong order but anyway, We stay with the food to not cause more problems. I let the Supervisor know everything and thanked her for listening so they can correct the issue. The table behind us also had such discomfort.

I realized that the priority in that place is whether the Take Out rather than the people in the restaurant. Phone is always ringing for take out with a heavy activity The next time I will do the same and order take out instead of eating in...

I had a bad experience here about a month ago. I do not live by the area but I was raised in Passaic NJ. I was craving Mexican food one morning and decided to come by and I wanted a huevos rancheros(eggs with tomatoes onion and hot peppers). I did not want the rice and beans so I asked if it could be put in a bread roll. Waitress said let me go ask came back and said NO. I asked to speak to a manager spoke with him he said sorry we can not. I’ve order before from this place and he knows I come from a different town. He just said it can’t be done. Place was not to full capacity. I would have gladly paid more all I wanted was the Huevos Rancheros on a roll with cheese. I said I would pay for the complete meal. But management said the owner does not allow this. If I was allergic and did not want beans or rice would it have been a different case? I did get a agua de horchata and paid and explain my frustration. Headed to another Mexican restaurant in town and with out a question catered...

Delivery Order: Had a real hard time deciding on this Rating. Delivered twice from this place, and both times the experience wasn't great.

1st time, they gave a completely different order and I when I called to see what went wrong, couldn't get any information since no one was able to speak in English. So, I have no clue whether it was a mistake on the Restaurant side or the Delivery Guy mixed up the order. Some kind of Chicken and Rice combo was delivered instead of my original order, but it tasted pretty good.

2nd time, they sent the correct order but it food just average. Chilaquiles and Tortas are my go to options when ordering Mexican food, and I have definitely had better ones for same or lower price. They weren't bad but not good either.

Not sure if I would be ordering from here again since there a plenty of other good Mexican Restaurants to order from...
