Viva birria nj tacos truck — Restaurant in Passaic

Service & Truck design I rated higher than the food. Convinced the reviews are not authentic. I’ve eaten from here 4x to give it a fair chance for only one of those times it was 7/10. The container they put the consome in is not a very good one (small holes at the top & spills, it also looks very watered down). The pork Birria was DEFINITELY not what I was expecting (looks odd to me) after the first bite I gave it to my brother so I wouldn’t waste money. The beef a little better but still very mediocre, not much flavor. I called to see if I can switch for something else or refund & I was told “No, because I like it & I think it taste great”. Viva Birria is amazing! It is a must have. Very authentic. Exactly like the pictures. The birria meat was juicy and flavorful, the shell was crisp and the consomme eats like a soup. I ate 2 on the spot and took 2 home popped then in the AF and were as amazing the second day as.the first!! The truck is so clean, the vessels used for our food were perfect. The gentlemen selling and cooking were kind and informative. I wish you all the success for the future. We were working at the bldg next to them. I was so happy to learn we had to go back to the building to finish..only to find out Viva Birria is closed...

My company hired them for a Cinco de Mayo event this year. Their food was amazing. We had tacos, with all the toppings, grilled corn, chips, salsa, and Agua Frescas. Everyone raved about their food, which says a lot because our company is in the food science industry. They were very accommodating with scheduling on short notice for a group of about 40 people.
