McDonald's — Restaurant in Pataskala

Let's start with a basic truth, I am not a fan of McDonald's. I went only because my wife took our 3yo granddaughter there for the chicken nugget Happy Meal. She also had a coupon for Spicy Chicken Tenders and the pictures looked tastey. I know, pictures can be deceiving but I thought I'd give them a try. At last! Something worth eating at McDonald's - I know, I'm shocked too.

But that's the best thing I can say about our visit. Naturally, our granddaughter wanted to play and that was the main reason we went here. There were several other kids playing and most did not have socks on. This upset my wife as this is a health rule. She issued a complaint with the manager and got a response that made her feel the matter would be attended to, but nothing was done. Why make such an indication then not follow up on it. The place was also dirty; we had to clean up our own table. Plus there was a large spill on the floor that had several napkins and paper towels laid over most of it. Another customer came in and this spill was in front of the only available table so he cleaned it up. Staff had been in the area and simply walked around the mess.

My chicken tenders had to be made up. Staff delivered the rest of our order to us, but after a 10 minute wait I went after them. They were ready but barely warm.

Except for the good taste of the Spicy Chicken Tenders, this visit was a total reinforcement of why I am not a fan of McDonald's. Bland, food of empty (of healthy) calories, cooked to barely acceptable quality, offered by staff that clearly doesn't want to be there with service quality that exemplifies all of the...

Probably one of the worst locations I’ve been too. The people they have working in there are really bad. Please tell me how there are no less than 5 employees who are standing around and no one else in line but me and I had to pull up and wait 15 minutes for my order and it wasn’t extreme. Very basic combo/drink. Not to mention the issues with placing my order were a bit much. The girl taking the order was too busy talking to actually pay attention. So I had to repeat my order 3 times at the speaker and still had to correct her at the window. Get my food home and was very disappointed. I ordered 2 large fries and 1 medium. This is what they are giving people who order large fries. All 3 were below half filled. This being the worst. I know it’s fast food and I could just eat at home but when I decide to spend my money and time at a restaurant, fast food or not I expect to get what I’m paying for. I worked at McDonald’s. It is not a hard job to ring up orders and there is downtime to talk and play around but it’s not when customers are present and can hear you. It’s rude and poor representation...

Today I was driving down Broad Street and Taylor Road a crazed woman passed me just after the intersection. There wasn’t Enough room for her to get in front of me so she ran me off the road. She pulled into McDonald’s in Pataskala and I pulled in after her. I was gonna ask her why she ran me off the road and passed me on the yellow line markers. An employee at McDonald’s ask me to leave. I suppose that she may have worked at McDonald’s and he was protecting her. It’s hard to believe that these kind of people degrade the quality of life. I will never eat there again and I’ve lived here for 74 years. I live in Pataskala. by the way, I called McDonald’s when I got home and the person I talked to told me that she was at the 310 and 70 location. I called back and they wouldn’t answer the phone at the Pataskala location. So I assume that I called the correct location the first time. That says everything. Never...
