Chifa Jade — Restaurant in Paterson

This place is probably one of the best places around for those that are looking for "chifa" which is Peruvian food with Chinese influences. You will find that the majority of the crowd here is Peruvian. The chaufa is great here as well as their lomo saltado. The portions are large and I'd recommend nothing larger than a medium especially if this is your first time here. Regardless of what you have, you of course will be able to wash it down with a refreshing Inca Cola! There is a good amount of seating available as i believe they recently expanded but it can feel a bit cramped. Once you get the food tho, you won't be bothered with such a trivial thing. So seen this place and was curious about the Peruvian-Chinese food decided to give it a try and essentially what I received was pork fried rice and bone-in ribs. I went with the combination plate, Fried rice, 4 ribs, & egg roll.

I have to say that it was average... nothing that was different from any other Chinese restaurant. Now I must say that there prices were over inflated what you get. The container was the white rectangular plastic with clear top. I paid $16 for what would be a lunch special any where else and I didn't even get a drink. This restaurant has been in the same location for many years. However, they should put attention to the decay of the place inside it looks depressing while eating. I have the Vegetables Noodles Peruvian Asian Style. They were ok nothing extraordinary about it I will never understand is there as many vegetables available they only use a very limited amount of veggies. I was sitting for a long while with the empty plate in my table and no one person took it away. I know the restaurant has been there for a long time but the decorations and ambient looks depressing and the service needs improvement.
