Modern Modesty — Local services in Paterson

Yesterday I popped into Modern Modesty after reaching out to them on Instagram, looking for Keffiyeh's. For starters, as someone born and raised in Paterson, I was very happy to put my hard earned money back into my community, specifically the Muslim/Islam community. South Paterson is honestly the best place in (I imagine) the United States, you can find Middle Eastern EVERYTHING. Modern Modesty is a small little fashion boutique that has mostly women's clothing. But some very nice garments. I had been searching for Keffiyeh's as they are hard to find now. Which warms my heart knowing people are buying them and supporting our Palestinian friends. I paid $30 for each one. And they had two different styles. The quality is amazing. So the price is certainly fair! I brought my 84-year-old mom to the store. Marwa was very pleasant, kind, and professional. Mom and I had no idea what we should get, but we're lucky that Marwa guided us. She spent much time helping, showing us multiple products and explaining their differences. My mom was thrilled with our experience in the store. The store is very organized and has a variety of designs that we have never seen in any other store. The product quality is terrific, and the price is very reasonable.
