If you want the shawarma wraps or sandwiches, you need to be here before 4. The price for sandwiches and wraps is very reasonable, with $6 for chicken and $7 for beef shawarma or lamb skewer. They have bottles of white sauce (a little low on salt but tasty) and Frank's red hot sauce. While I think the wraps don't need sauce and are good as they are, the sandwiches might be a little drier and benefit from sauce.
The platters are pricier ($12+) and not worth it at all. The rice are bland and the salad is just basic lettuce and tomatoes. The portion of meat is pretty much similar to what you get in a sandwich. Better to get 2 sandwiches than a platter (although one sandwich will be enough for a meal).
The lamb skewer in particular is amazing. Overall great place to grab a cheap (and delicious) sandwich. Blows all other sandwiches I've had out the water.
While I personally prefer wraps, most people get their sandwiches with bread instead of tortilla. Either way you...
Read moreI paid $70 for 4 sandwiches and 3 lentil soups with no drinks. Not surprising because if you don’t speak Turkish like them they will rip you off. Anyway I thought for $70 the food would be amazing considering other places only charge $5 for the same exact soup. My “sandwiches” had no sauces whatsoever. I even had the guy on the phone read my order back to me to confirm he would put sauce on all sandwiches. The sandwiches were a large loaf of bread with a single skinny piece of kebab, lettuce, and onions. They couldn’t be bothered to put any tomatoes any sauces or at least a larger piece of kebab. The driest sandwich I’ve ever had. These sandwiches are not worth more than $5 definitely more of a snack than lunch. We ended up throwing out the food because we couldn’t eat them like that. In conclusion this place is a waste of money. They are very very very cheap with the ingredients that they use. The food is very plain their meat is often burnt. Will never be...
Read moreWe ordered 4 Iskenderun kebabs and the bread under them was moldy. We had to leave half of the meal on plate and they still charged us for 80 dollars. In cases like this I can’t accept excuses like ‘we get fresh batch of breads everyday’ (which clearly wasn’t the case) and I’d expect them to just apologize, show some empathy and won’t charge the customers.
Other problem was we waited a lot for meal to be prepared. They were also smoking somewhere inside(or somewhere really close) we had to breath it.
I am not happy with the...
