Just had a Ramadan dinner here with my husband and son. Very personalized and attentive service, delicious food, clean bathroom! There is a woman continuously toasting fresh Turkish bread and distributing in the baskets on the tables and plenty of fresh cold water bottles oh, and they brought around Crush lentil soup to everyone breaking the fast before starting their main meal. I had beef shish kabob. The beef cubes are made out of filet mignon and I always order meat well done so many restaurants don't know how to do that without burning to meet. This place cook it perfectly and very tender and spiced. My husband had lamb Kabob over bulgar. Are 10 year old had a gyro sandwich and it was gigantic! The hummus and baba ganoush were both also delicious especially with the toasted bread. They serve Turkish tea afterwards to everyone in the restaurant. Elegant and cozy, not Over the Top. Also it's a Fenton, the kind of place where they are playing Turkish TV with music videos playing in Turkish, just like an every Turkish household. All the food seems to be made fresh and you can stand up front and watch them cook it...
Read moreWould add more stars if that was an option. Finally a new unpretentious quality food in Paterson, where the owner and staff welcomes all, as they dishes out superior eats. We came in a group of four and ordered the family mixed grill, an enormous amount of food that came with a healthy portion of shepherd salad, and babaganush appetizer. The babaganush was probably the best I have had outside the middle east. You can taste the roasted eggplants but they were not burnt just well smoked, with just enough creamy tahini and lemon. The salad was freshly cut, crisp, and very generously seasoned. Yum. Next came the grilled mix, now full disclosure, I am not a chicken fan, but this one was just amazing and stood out from the rest of the meats. It was juicy and well seasoned to perfection, and I just couldn't stop. In fact, everything on that plate, the lamb kabobs and koftas was just wholesomely perfect! Simply great food. We finished with a traditional Turkish coffee made to order. (No room left for the sweet deserts, maybe next time). A wonderful late lunch that I will definitely come back to. Highly...
Read moreI went to Tadim restaurant with my family and had the mixed mezze platter as an appetizer and the lamb chops for dinner. I cannot say enough about this place. The workers were fast and friendly, and the meals were delectable! Mouthwatering, to say the least. You can tell that the mezze's were fresh just by the smell, and the smell was definitely conveyed in the taste. I had tried the same mezze's at many other restaurants, but Tadim 's definitely exceeded them all in both flavor and freshness. The grilled lamb chop dinner surpassed my thoughts. Not many places can make a good lamb chop, but O.M.G. pure bliss! This place is the go-to spot! The chops were moist and tender, the juices from the meat leaked into the rice, and there was a flavor party in my mouth! I am looking forward to trying the other dishes they are known for (the iskender is next on my list). This little hidden gem is, without a...
