This place is the most unprofessional place I have ever encountered. I had ordered a large salad to be delivered to my job and when it arrived I noticed they gave me a very small salad for $14. Instead of leaving that small salad with me and making me another small salad, the owner told the delivery guy to take the salad from me and they will make me a large one. ( which they probably dumped the salad already made into another bowl, and didn't make me a fresh salad although that salad contained eggs). The Delivery guy brought me my large salad and when I opened it I noticed they used lettuce instead of Spinach like I ordered and payed for in the first place. When I called the owner to tell him they messed up my order he stayed quiet on the phone and had reached out to the delivery guy through text and told him to go back and pick up the salad because I told him I wanted my money back. He came back to the phone and told me I was going to be reimbursed and hung up on me. He did not apologize at all and my question is why would you want the salad to be picked up so he can save it and give it to someone else??? Disgusting behavior, I will never order from...
Read moreLet me start by saying that this place has VERY good food and service. Best Italian/Pizza I've found in this area so far. They would get a solid 4-star rating from me, which is a great rating, if not for one thing: they charge a $3 delivery fee. To be honest, that does make me go for other options sometimes, and also when I DO order from them, I order less than I otherwise would. That $6 order of mozarella sticks that I might've thrown in? Well, if not for the extra $3 I already have to throw in.... And to be honest, I'm inclined to tip $2 to begin with, but when a place insists on a delivery charge, especially when past $1, well, I damn sure hope that covers the tip, because I'm certainly not spending $5 for delivery when area competitors at similar pricings offer free delivery. I know a lot of people who I could convince to order from them if not for that delivery fee. So not great for business, but like I said, great food, punctual and efficient servics, so a very solid 3s, would be 4s if it was a place I dined in, but people order delivery a lot from such places, and that delivery fee is a definite...
Read moreHad a few people tell us to check this place out so on the way to a ballgame in the city we figured the perfect time is now! We had no suggestions on what to order but we were in a hurry so we figured just grab a few different pies and munch on that. We went with a pepperoni and a margherita. Since we have been there though, we've been told their Italian entrees and the Grandma Pie is excellent as well.
The crust on the pies was solid. Nice thin crust with a bit of a snap and some char on the bottom. Exactly how I like it. The pepperoni was a pretty standard pie but the margherita was different, but quite good. There were large chunks of a high quality tomato on there and they didn't just toss whole leaves of basil on there like a lot of places do. I much prefer this to a normal margherita pie. Typically it's a pain to chew the basil and you get many full bites with no basil at all.
Price is pretty much what you'd expect and the food was solid. Cannot complain one bit. I'd definitely go back. Also the bakery next door had some excellent...
