Yum, Yum, Yum. I had the tallarín a la huancaina with steak. The steak had the same sauce that they make anticucho with. I’ve never had it served that way but it was delicious none the less. My nephew had the green spaghetti with steak. He ate it all so I’m gonna assume he like it. The mazamorra morada was okay but I have a sweet tooth and I didn’t find it as sweet as I’m usually use to. But other than that the taste was spot on. Have to come back and try some more of their dishes. Also, there portions are very generous. The restaurant is Peruvian approved. My cousins who came from Peru actually ate here first when they came to visit. They loved it.

“Oh wow the outdoor area is so trendy” 🍽 Somos Tu Peru 2 📍Paterson, NJ ⭐️ 4/5 💰 $ Wow this modern and trendy outdoor area used to be an alleyway. The nice vibes and ambiance were great paired with the delicious breakfast. I ordered Tamales de chancho (pork) and my friend ordered pan con Chicharrón mixto! The pork was really delicious 🤤 I’ve been here plenty of times and will def be back when I’m in downtown. As a peruvian girl I can really tell this is authentic peruvian food! Went there for the reviews and it was amazing! Been trying lots of Peruvian restaurants to show my husband but this was the best so far. They have lunch special which includes one appetizer, entree and a drink, all for 9 bucks! I had the ceviche and purée con bistec and it was delicious! The emoliente was very tasty too! The service is great. Both the waitress and the waiter who were there were very friendly, polite and helpful! This place is a catch!!

The food is good, but the order came too late. The server was very nice, even though she did not speak spanish. It is not like crazy delicious but it is stillsomething good. My friend did not think that her aji de gallina was any similar to the peruvian one though. The outdoor is nice, also it is cute that they put peruvian flags on the food. Instagram @imluzcusi. I am a local guide professional and may come back to see if it improved.

Really, Really good food. Authentic peruvian food. Nice and homely feel. Friendly service. Great servings. You will enjoy this. They have the traditional dishes and good peruvian desert choices. This is my second time, so it's time to put up a review. It's a definite recommendation.
