One of the best Pollo a la Brasa I've ever tried! This peruvian restaurant is my family’s personal favorite when it comes to pollo a la brasa in NJ. We get the pollo a la brasa here every time we are in town and for any special occasion. It is truly that good. I have tasted pollo a la Brasa from more than 30 peruvian restaurants in many different different states in the east side of America and this one is on my top 5 selection currently. I first tried this restaurant in 2018 but I didn't post reviews at that time. I have now returned to it this year and have long waited to taste this heavenly chicken again!

There are several reasons why I say this is the best Pollo a la Brasa that you can get (maybe in all of America. I have yet to determine that but wouldn't be surprised if it won). Firstly, this restaurant uses a wood fired oven used in authentic peruvian pollo a la Brasa restaurants. This means that all the smoky flavor penetrates the chicken for maximum flavor. The traditional spices used to season the chicken is present and not just on the skin but also deep within the chicken meat. The skin was not crunchy as I personally like it but it was very flavorful. The fries were soggy but it seems that all restaurants that offer pollo a la brasa focus more on the chicken, and oftentimes the salad as well. The cost is near that of all other restaurants, which is from the range of $15-25. The size of the chicken is good for the price. The combination of authentic smoky flavor, spices from the marinade, and price makes this one of the best peruvian rotisserie chickens in America.

I have seen several bad reviews about the waiters or wait times but those issues were not evident when I ate there. I can’t recommend the other food as I did not eat anything but the pollo a la brasa but the divine flavor that this chicken brings may be able to give you a good idea for the rest of the menu. If you ever wanted to try pollo a la brasa, are in town, or even live nearby, I extremely recommend that you come try...

"Al principio tuve prejuicios sobre la atención" , significa mucho para mí la primera impresión en este sentido.

Suelo tomarme un tiempo para revisar la puntuación y reseñas de los restaurantes, soy selectiva a la hora de confiar mi tiempo, dinero y sobretodo mi salud. La gastronomía es una de las carreras que considero más importantes y delicadas. La comida ,lo que ingerimos nos da múltiples capacidades por ende debe ser cuidadosamente seleccionada, conservada y preparada en ámbitos higiénicos y profesionales , sino también podría causar mal en nuestro organismo.

➡️Al revisar todo la carta de platos, me cautivaron los precios accesibles. Ese día camine buscando un Lugar para comer un buen pollo, por ejemplo, a mi no me gustaría sentir el sabor de sangre en un pollo no muy bien cocido.

➡️Solo probé un plato se toda la carta, 1/2 pollo que te ofrecen servir con 2 contornos. Elegí Yuca frita y Arroz Chaufa. ☑️El pollo lo pedí un poco más cocido. Y así llegó a la mesa. Muy buen sabor y textura. ✅La yuca aunque un poco fría, se entiende que por estar en invierno ,la comida toma frío más rápido, sin embargo hubiese preferido que la trajeran un poco más a tiempo. Su sabor era bueno, aunque tenía mezcla del sabor de otra comida ,como de algún condimento, se entiende que cocinan otros platos y se mezclan. Aún así se sentía fresca y muy bien escurrida del aceite. ☑️El arroz chaufa buen sabor un tanto frío, para mí gusto un tanto más de cocción, sentí granos de arroz algo duro. ✅ Pedí Gaseosa. Sin embargo hay otras bebidas disponibles.

Ambiente y Lugar: Agradable, higiénico (sobretodo el baño que es sumamente importante para mí) .

La música: Al entrar, para mí gusto y el de mi acompañante , no era de nuestra preferencia 😅 , entendemos que no pueden complacer a todos ,sin embargo era la 1pm seguramente estaban recién abriendo el restaurant y esto tiene que ver, teníamos hambre y la música romántica nos estaba durmiendo , 25 de diciembre! . Luego cambiaron la música y nos cambió la onda.

➡️Sobre la atención. Debo resaltar que dos personas cambiaron mis prejuicios principales. Soy Camarera también desde hace muchísimos años y no soy perfecta ,hay días de días. Sin embargo, el restaurant para cuando nosotros llegamos solo habían dos meses para atender no justifica que había alrededor de 7 camareros , listos para dar la mejor atención.

El primero nos atendió amablemente, sin embargo no lo ví más acercarse a la mesa😅,

Luego la chica que trajo el plato .

El plato lo pedimos para compartir,por ende esperábamos dos platos adicionales. Y no tocamos la comida hasta que llegarán los otros platos ( obviamente eso aceleró que se enfriara) , en vista de, llame a una tercera persona por los platos. ( Los trajo) , está fue la primera persona que nos sacó una sonrisa al hacernos sentir atendidos, se acercó unos minutos más tarde , a preguntar: todo bien? Necesitan algo más?

Luego mientras comí, note que habían unas cremas o salsas, y yo soy fans de las cremas. Me levanté de la mesa a la barra para pedirla. Una cuarta persona trajo la salsa.

Al final pedimos la cuenta a una quinta persona! Que amablemente lo trajo. Este fue la segunda persona que realmente nos cambió la perspectiva sobre la atención🤗 al despedirnos nos invitó a volver pronto.

A mí parecer solo un poco de coordinación de las plazas. Sin embargo fue buena la atención. A menos todo nos llegó a la mesa.

Regresaría al Lugar? Si, Lo haría . No frecuentemente ,sin embargo si lo haría.

Personalmente me gustaría ir a la hora de la cena y por otros platos a probar, por los tragos , la música y a observar la atención nuevamente.

No tomé fotos ,sin embargo el lugar está lindo, sobretodo el área de - Espera.

Overall I like this place for there food. But I'm pist. I've been ordering here for years now. And I never had a problem when I order with the lady's in there. They actually always get my order right but everytime I place the order with the dominican dude he always manages to get my order wrong. Like once, twice Maybe 3 times. Cool! But everytime is ridiculous. I already lost count of how many times his done it. For me to have let it slide so many times and for me to even write a review you know I'm upset. I don't write reviews for most part I rate and if I do write anything is positive & short. But man, like be foreal. Then the crazy part is that when I know is him I tell him the order slow so he can get it right, he then repeats the order back to me and still gets it wrong..he sucks A×××!!!! How u repeat it back and always get the sh×××× fxxxx wrong !!!! 😒 and I always let it go because I'm way to far to go back. Now I'm fed. So yea now you have it. He needs to get his shxxx together with his rude A××! Next time I call and he answers I'm not putting my order, like put someone else on the phone straight like that. Again it's not the place, it's him I'm having a bad...
