Chan's Palace — Restaurant in Paw Paw Township

Went here for the first time today. Got in and ordered and payed at 3:50 pm. I ordered two items. Nothing extravagant, Mongolian Beef and Orange Chicken.Was advised the order would take 30 minutes. I came back 33 minutes later at 4:23 pm and was then told it the order wasn't ready yet. There was one booth with two people sitting down and the rest of the restaurant was empty. I waited until 4:44 and then my order was brought out. 54 minutes to get an order from an empty restaurant with 5 people working in the back. The food was just okay, I've had better, the service was and F-. The prices are not that inexpensive either. Horrendous customer service. If you have all afternoon, by all means give them a try. Worst Chinese I ever remember having. Don’t waste your money! I ordered a combination plate of beef and broccoli and for starters it looked like someone dropped my food container. There was hardly meat and overall tiny little portion. Normally when I order a meal at Chinese restaurants, it’s enough to share with my 5 year old and even some leftovers for lunch the next day but this was barely enough for me for dinner. It tasted very un authentic, I make a better stir fry at home and it was very low quality. Then the CRAB RANGOONS. Yikes. I only ate half of one of because it was so tough and hard and I was fearful of food poisoning as there is no way it was even from the day before I’d say it was a few days old. NASTY! One star, not recommend: my family and I got take out there last evening and it was basically inedible. If you were looking to order food from here, DON'T! The chicken was undercooked and mixed with what looked like eel guts, but I assume was some sort of disgusting vegetables. The pork looked like orange chicken and tasted like chicken... That had sat out on the counter for two weeks. The beef looked and smelled so revolting that none of us tried it and we threw it straight in the garbage. The fried rice was dry and tasteless. The fortune cookies were the only good thing about the meal and THAT'S being generous. Bottom line if you are thinking about ordering food from here... You aren't thinking and you would be better off going to your local dumpster for food then ordering ANYTHING from this...
