This has been a place since childhood for me, 10 years later you would think new people own it. When you walk in to wait for your food... You will learn life stories about the useless cashier and cooks because all they do is talk about their personal life while messing orders up. I ordered food from here over the phone and showed up 25 minute later to get my food, my food is no where to be found, after 5 minutes of looking for my food, the 'chef' woman clearly states "I took her order, I didn't write it down I was busy". I simply said its fine and left. There are too many people in this world who need jobs and clearly she doesn't need hers. It was rude and disgusting, as ok as their food is I will never step foot into this facility ever again. The owners were right there and said nothing while I was in there. This is the second time they've done this, because they are all family and clearly don't care...
Read moreMy wife and I were driving from Boston down to East CT on Saturday, and stopped into House of Pizza on a whim for dinner. The review pictures of their pizzas and calzones looked too good to pass up. I got a large Linguica grinder with onions, peppers, and sauce, and she got a large steak, mushroom, & onion calzone. Both were quite large, especially her calzone. My grinder was very good, but her calzone was even better. It was loaded with cheese, and the filling was perfectly seasoned. I was particularly impressed with their marinara sauce, which is a weak spot for many pizza joints. If you're passing through the area, House of Pizza is pretty easy to get to from the highway, and it makes a great excuse to get out of the car and stretch your legs. The food was fantastic, and you will definitely...
Read moreHaving gone to both Pawtucket House of pizzas since day one, The one on the Division Street is not I repeat not the restaurant that George opened years ago. I ordered a small sausage pizza The sausage was dried out cheap tasting low cost commercial grade stuff. the crust was flavorless as was the rest of the pizza. The sandwiches fare somewhat better. I also got the impression that nothing has changed in the restaurant since the last time I went there 15 years ago The same yellow falling apart sign over the counter chipped paint everywhere all around unclean looking. I don't like bagging hard working people I'm sure the people that own the current restaurant are good folks but I'm not going to sugarcoat anything this was a Pawtucket institution it is now in my view a joke, a shadow of its...
