Both locals and tourists have praised Blue Fish Peruvian Restaurant Seafood, which is situated at 25 Pawtucket Ave. in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for providing a genuine and enjoyable Peruvian dining experience. This welcoming restaurant, which specializes in fresh seafood dishes, has grown to be a favorite among people looking for authentic Peruvian flavors. The varied and expertly prepared menu at Blue Fish is one of its best qualities. The ceviche de pescado, which is reminiscent of the best dishes in Lima, has received praise from diners for its flawless presentation and flavor. The grilled octopus is another popular dish that has been praised for being flavorful and fresh, making customers want to come back for more. chaufa con mariscos, a seafood fried rice, and lomo saltado, a traditional Peruvian stir-fry dish. Despite being small, the atmosphere of the restaurant is genuine and friendly. It creates a warm atmosphere for both small parties and lone diners with a bar in the middle and tables arranged around the outside. Many customers value the welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience, even though some have complained that the space can feel a little cramped, particularly for larger families. Blue Fish's attentive and welcoming service has received constant praise. Even during busy times, guests have praised the staff's professionalism and politeness. Despite the restaurant's staffing shortage, one reviewer noted that the lone server effectively handled several responsibilities, making patrons feel appreciated and well-cared for. The beverage selections are a great match for the cuisine, and Pisco Sours and Mojitos stand out for their excellence and affordable prices. Together with the delicious food, these beverages provide a filling and satisfying meal. Blue Fish offers great value for money with generous portion sizes. It's perfect for groups who want to try a range of flavors because dishes like the seafood fried rice, a mixed seafood platter, and the jalea mixta are generous enough to share. The seafood at Blue Fish Peruvian Restaurant provides a deep and genuine culinary exploration of Peruvian cuisine. It stands out as a must-visit location for anyone in Pawtucket looking for an unforgettable dining experience because of its mouthwatering dishes, attentive service, and...

This review is for the Shark restaurant #2 that's in central falls. It just opened on December 26. Party of 6 from another state decided to travel to central falls for a good experience. Big mistake. It had a terrible service. The waitress took 30 mts to get us extra plates to share our food. She kept saying yes every time we asked for the plates, then walked around and never brought them. It was done 3 times. We had to call other staff for help. Then, another 30mts to let us know the dessert one of us requested was not available. About 30 minutes to bring a carrot cake. Towards the end, we told her to make a separate bill for 3 different parties at our table which she agreed to do from the beginning, and in the end she put it all together in one bill. When we told her to split it like we said from the beginning, she came back splitting it the wrong way overcharging everyone. Overall, she took a long time to get back to us for anything we asked. We had to get up and go to the cashier ourselves because our waitress just kept walking around knowing we were waiting. Food wise... please invest in an authentic Peruvian chef. First serving of leche de tigre was good. Second one, terrible. Anticuchos were dry. The pescado a lo macho was salty and not authentic. We sent back the bistek a lo pobre because the grilled steak had a weird taste and was extremely chewy hard to cut. The Peruvian asian fusion was basic. Peruvians don't need a fancy restaurant investment. We need a really good Peruvian chef who can actually cook authentic Peruvian food of ALL sorts, not just seafood. The food has a 1.5 out of 5 ratings in this Shark and the same goes for the shark lounge in pawtucket. Service in both places get a low rating as well. Very...

One of those places where the food is Delicious but unfortunately the service is HORRIBLE! Uno de esos lugares donde la comida es deliciosas pero el servicio es HORRIBLE.

This is the first time I have ever given bad review to a restaurant or anywhere for that matter.

We were celebrating my father's birthday and wanted to visit a new place with good food. We were a little lost when we got there because we didn't know if we had to seat ourselves or they would seat us but whatever. We got seated the waitress (who's name I learned after I got the bill was Nicole) just looked at us and from experience I thought she was waiting for our drink orders so I asked everyone what they would like to drink. My son (8yrs old) ordered apple juice she just shaked her head no, I had to ask you don't have apple juice?( I was very nice to her and was in a very good mood.... It didn't last long) She rolled her eyes and said no, we ordered something else. We were looking at the drink menu and my brother asked what does the SOMBRERO has? (a drink on the menu) again she rolled her eyes and lifted her shoulders and said she had no idea...... The visit went on like that. I was very disappointed because the food was very very good the prices even better and it was a huge portion but if you don't feel welcomed and comfortable in a place why go again....I just hope ...

I'm from out of state. I've been to Peru over a dozen times and am very familiar with the cuisine. I love Peruvian food, and always endeavor to try a new (to me) Peruvian restaurant. This was a small restaurant with a bar in the middle and tables around the wall. There were 4 or 5 other patrons. The waitress was quick to service and the food came in an acceptable time frame. The ceviche de pescado was the perfect in presentation and taste. I have not had a better ceviche since I last visited Lima. We also had chaufa con mariscos. Personally, I would have ordered it with chicken (didn't see it any other way on the menu). I did not taste it, but the untrained palate of my guest complained it was a bit salty. He was also trying a number of the seafood items in this dish for the first time. Again, I cannot personally judge the taste, but the presentation of the chaufa was an A+. I am often in Rhode Island, and I will absolutely go back.

I was in Providence this weekend and took the opportunity to try as many places as I could during my stay. The Shark Lounge was on my list, and I'm glad to say it didn't disappoint. Another in my party had the chicken and unfortunately I cannot recommend it. The portions where not appropriately sized. However, anything in the seafood section was a dream! I had the ceviche mixto, it was DELICIOUS and also very generously sized. Very faithful to the Peruvian style. This is a lot of bang for your buck. We also had The delicious Choros Al Tiburon as an appetizer, it's a must for any seafood lovers. If you're looking for amazing seafood options, this is the place. However, bear in mind, the place is small and fills up quickly on the weekends. Depending on the day reservations are a must.

Update 5/30/2023 - The food taste and preparation have changed considerably. It seems that chef and cooks joined a different location? The ceviche was great but the paella gave us food poisoning and had to miss work the next day. Such a different experience to the previous visits to shark lounge where I had given this place a five star ratings. Not sure what happened here but I never expect to get food poisoning at a seafood place that was amazing in taste, presentation and service.
