I’ve ordered from here exactly twice; no more. The first time I had an issue with delivery. Over a month later, I wanted to give them another chance and order through GrubHub hoping that they would’ve improved their processes. I was mistaken. My pizza took over an hour to get to me and was cold when it arrived. When I called the restaurant to ask what the issue was I was met with a combative manager-on-duty who said that the only thing he could do was remake the pizza and get it out to me as quickly as possible; mind you this was after I had only waited over an hour.
In a normal course of things, you would think that the restaurant would want to offer some sort of discount as a way of apology to have me come back as a return customer. Not the case here. So in my frustration, I asked for my money back. The manager said that the only way to get my money back was if I return the pizza and I told him fine have your driver come pick up the pizza. Well, it took another 40 minutes before the driver came back to get the pizza, and when they called I was in the bed asleep. I resolved the issue through Grubhub and received my money back.
Today I called and spoke with the owner. Again I was met with argumentative excuses. I wanted to offer some constructive feedback and instead of listening and saying, "I’ll take that into consideration, thank you for the feedback" and trying to retain me as a customer he began arguing with me and he told me that I didn’t know what I was talking about (btw, I do because I work in the industry) and continued to argue with me. I told him I didn't call to argue but to give feedback he insisted he wasn’t arguing. I had to explain that an argument is giving a point, and then the other party giving a counterpoint, and so on as he was doing. I told him that he just lost a customer and he said, "That’s fine" matter-of-factly. Clearly, his business is doing so well that one customer isn't important to him.
I don't leave reviews often but this was a...
Read moreI ordered a large quesadilla which I normally do order 2-3 times weekly...and its always cold upon delivery at least 1 out of the 3 times, after finally being fed up of having to reheat it..which the point of getting/ordering take out is to not have to cook...i called to complain..and was told ollys delievers 250-300 orders/deliveries daily and have never had a complaint of the food being cold. I was then asked if I wanted my food remade (after already waiting over an hour and had already started to reheat my quesadilla) so i then asked if I could get a credit towards my next order/delivery and for my $21++ order for 1 Quesadilla I was told he would give me a $5.00 credit on my next order/phone number. I am very and highly disappointed considering I order from Ollys 2 to 3 times a week and this is the service and food I receive after being a "valued customer".
Update 12/2/2020 I decided to order again the exact same order as stated above on Monday 11/30/2020 seeing I was told id be given a 5$ credit towards mt next order. And the woman who tool my order told me there was never a credit put on my acct/phone number. So once again I paid full price after being told because of my dissatisfaction of my previous order that id be credited the 5$ which I never received. Kind of upsetting. Luckily my food warm at least warm this time but till would like my 5$ credit when I order next if the owner that told me about the credit could comment or contact me regarding this id really...
Read moreI just moved within walking distance this Summer, so I've tried only a few things here so far and have been very pleased: A thick crust cheese pizza, a thick crust cheese and eggplant pizza, a Greek salad with chicken and another without, mozzarella sticks and the cheese sticks. No complaints! I'm a pizza snob and I really liked these, though for a thick crust, it was thin, so I'm very glad I went ahead and ordered the thick sized. The salads were loaded with feta cheese and huge and the chicken one also was loaded with chicken (I'm a veg, so I didn't try it, I ordered it for my dog, but it smelled delish and was well cooked and recieved by her and she's a huge snob eater.) The mozzarella sticks were just so yummy, but the cheese sticks were only ok. The staff were friendly and on one occassion, when I paid via their Slice website, they didn't notice I had already paid, so when I picked up, they attempted to charge me again. They had misplaced my reciept, but they were very polite and apologetic while they searched for it (and found it.) Overall, I like the food, the prices are current with the going rate, the portions are large, the place is clean and the staff are friendly. I'll...
