Tugas Restaurant and Catering — Restaurant in Pawtucket

It took a very long time for the waitress to take our food order and drink order. We sat there for about 13 minutes before I drink water was received. Then we waited about 30 minutes before the drink came to us then we ordered about 45 minutes later and there was not a lot of good choices for appetizer and there was no bread given with butter or anything while we sat there and waited. We got there at 9 PM in our food came out at 10:45. The food was OK and then we were told there was a shortage of rice so the other folks that were in our party could only get salad. I definitely would not probably go back here again unless I just wanted to listen to music and that’s It. My husband liked his food, but I really didn’t like mine at all. It was definitely overpriced. The plates should really be between 10 and $12 because that’s all it’s worth I have been to hundreds of restaurants and this has to be my top two worst I feel terrible to say that because my husband again he enjoyed his fish But my shrimp with white rice and Portuguese potatoes were not even hot. It took the waitress 40 minutes just to bring us hot sauce and she never once asked us. Did we like the food we were not even offered water to drink. Not a Portuguese Restaurant….Definitely a Cape Verdean restaurant….Cape Verdean atmosphere, Cape Verdean music playing, Cape Verdean customers, Cape Verdean menu and even Cape Verdean workers and cooks….asked for Kale soup was told it’s was “kale soup with potatoes etc except they add pasta but I got a Cape Verdean soup with no potatoes or components of a kale soup except the kale which was curly kale not the normal kale used in a traditional kale soup and it was a Thick broth with beef as the protein and carrots sparsely found with in….don’t get me wrong it wasn’t terribly but def. Not a Portuguese kale...

Absolutely HORRIBLE!! We ordered quite a few platters from them for my daughter's baby shower and when we got there there was only a few ready. We had to wait over an hour to get the rest of the platters. It was so embarrassing!! The food sucked!! The shrimp was overcooked!! The pork was so ridiculously dry! The codfish looked like a platter of plain mashed potatoes! We spent so much money for horrible food and we still had to wait for them to finish the other platters while our guests were waiting to eat. Never, never again!! This place...
