My husband and I went here for breakfast. We were not greeted by anyone. After a short pause, we found an available table. Within a couple of minutes someone came over and gave us some silverware and menus. After a few more minutes, another person came over and took our drink order. I ordered coffee with cream and my husband just wanted a water. The waitress came back and said the only cream they have is regular milk so I said that would be fine. When she brought it back the coffee tasted snd smelled old and I could not drink it so I ordered a water the next time the waitress came back. Two more parties came in after us and somehow their food orders got taken before us and they were both larger parties. When the waitress came back to give me my water, it was a glass of ice! She realized her mistake and walked away to go put water in the cup. The second time she brought it back it was all good. The waitress finally came back and we ordered our food. When we finally got it we had been there for approximately 45 minutes. I will say the omelettes were great! I thought the hashbrowns had a weird aftertaste and did not eat them, but my husband enjoyed them. It looked like they only had one cook in the back and and three ladies out front. I would say there was a steady amount of traffic, but the seating area was never more than half full, so I’m not sure what was going on why they couldn’t keep track of the patrons in order. The length of time it took to get the food I can understand if there was only 1 cook, but there’s really no excuse for a restaurant to not have coffee creamer and the coffee should always be fresh. I would go back and try them again if they stepped up their game a bit. I will say I think the prices...
Read moreGrateful Griddle- Pea Ridge, AR The Atmosphere and decor are very much home or farm house style. It’s very clean and inviting. I’m a fan of the faith inspired decor. Very nice. The food was delicious, and very well done. Very fresh, and tasted like Grandma was in the kickin cooking. The sausage tasted as thought it was purchased at a small Mom and Pop processing company. The price was very fair, and portions were excellent. The menu option were plentiful without being confusing. Service was fast, very professional and friendly. Tammy the owner came around to meet us. Those who follow me know this is a big deal to me, and has added to the rating. Megan, our server was very quick, professional and pleasant. Kept the coffee hot, ensured we had everything we needed and everything was to the correct standard. Read moreFood looked great. Kids ate their grilled cheese and PBJ no problem. Didn't care for their burger. I ordered the burger, too and not sure if it was the Swiss cheese or the burger but it tasted off. I tried another bite, same. Not sure if it's the recipe, bad meat, or the level of undercooked I ordered (medium) that made it taste like that. Husband scarfed the biscuits and gravy. The tea we ordered was not red diamond...if you prefer a certain brand. It tasted off and had a weird after taste.
For as many servers that were there and the simple menu, they need more/faster cooks. I get the high tops are meant to make the use of the room provided, but some people prefer low tops. It was noisy on a Sunday after church.
I know they're just starting and I'll give them another try in a...
